Default Winn Dixie in Georgia

As far as I can tell, Winn Dixie no longer exists in Georgia. There are still weekly lists posted. Any thoughts?

I live in North GA and havn't seen a Winn Dixie here in a long time. (about 10-12 yrs now) We used to have one 1/2 mile from where we lived but they closed it down and it became a Food Depot.

That's really strange to hear. I get a circular in the mail every week from them, granted their sales are not so great, a few good things here and there but to be honest, I think publix is taking away alot of their bussiness with their b1g1 sales and the fact that you can use a coupon on both items. I'ved noticed whenever I do go into a winn dixie, they usually don't have many people in there, at least not as much as they did when I moved here 3 1/2 yrs. ago. I still stroll through now and then because if you go on the right day you can really get some good deals on great meat, they mark it way down because that weeks sale is going to end and they have to sell the meat. It's great for me because I have 2 little girls and I don't drive, my husband is overseas but I love to do alot of walking with them so when I catch those bargains, I stock up with the upright freezer, my hubby bought one for my bday when he was home in March for the girls bdays, they were born on the 7th and8th of March, one year apart. They turned 2 and 3. I hope this wasn't too long for you but the girls are napping and it doesn't happen too often so I took advantage of it. It was nice chatting with you. Have a happy and safe Memorial Day everyone and please keep a good thought for my husband!!!
