Angry no sales or good deals again at winn dixie

This store really sucks. they have no real "specials" and charge way to much for their grocieries. I don't shop where I feel like I am being ripped off!

EXACTLY my thoughts! I have a Winn Dixie within walking distance of my house. You'll never find me in that store. I'll go out of my way to Publix before Winn Dixie gets my business. Not only have I not been able to find any good deals but the people that work there make me feel like I owe them something.

I just reviewed the WD flyer and there are just a couple of good deals

Head and shoulders are on sale for $3.99 each use the PG insert and get $2 off of 2 making it $5.98 ( I am not to sure about this deal because I will wait to see if any store will offer a bogo on this shampoo) the coupon is expiring on the 31st though

the pringles were on sale for $1 each I don't know how much it is now, but you can use the PG coupon $1 off 2 so you end up paying $1 or .50 each can! But sometimes walmart has these on sale for .97. I don't know about publix.

doritos are bogo

Lysol products are bogo! you use this sunday paper and get some descent deals there's also a rebate on the lysol website!

I live in Louisiana,
The only stores we have are Winn Dixie, Walmart as far as large stores for grocery shopping. Winn Dixie's prices are very high. Kroger and Publx stores are not here....I miss them I use to live in Atlanta.

Default Winn Dixies in Alabama

I live in Mobile, AL and usually only go to Winn-Dixie for meat - however last month they sent me 5 off of 30 for every week in March. Well when I went to pick up some meats I noticed a lot of stuff being marked down - cleaners, body wash, toothbrushes etc. Well anyway they are going through remodels of all of the Winn-Dixies here. So I was able to finally score some great deals with my Q's and the 5 off 30 and catalinas for 10 off 50. In fact one Winn-Dixie finally completed its remodel and is offering 5lbs Winn-Dixie sugar for .99 cents limit 2. We go through a lot of sugar - we love sweet tea down here!
This week they have buy 3 boxes Kelloggs cereal (Frosted Flakes, Fruit Loops) for 1.99 a piece you get a free gallon of milk and 4 12 pack Pepsi products for $10.

When remodels are done I guess it will be back to only picking up meats - I don't even bring my coupons in when I go to Winn-Dixie, because usually even with Q's they are priced too high.

I live in LA too. I do the best at AG (associated grocers) stores. OR I use my AG flyers, Target, and drug stores flyers too to take to WM and make them match the prices. It does stink that most of these posts we can't use.

While although, there is not a Winn-Dixie in my area.....when people are unhappy with their current store ads....I always suggest looking online to see what other stores are available in surrounding communities.

Default Store compliants

If there is one thing that bothers me the most is when people complain about a store. The stores you shop in are only as good as the people that run that particular one. It may be a big corporation but the guys at the top do not know what is going on in your praticular store unless you tell them. That means taking the time to e-mail, call, or write a letter (if anyone still uses the mail). Name your store location, the exact names of the people you are displeased with, why you are displeased with the store. Such as quality of service, quality or merchandise, availability of sale items, cleanliness etc etc etc. Complaining to one another will not solve the problems and believe me you are heard at the corporate level.

Granny, i totally agree with you. Believe me when i'm not happy with something in a store, someone in that store is going to hear about it. although winn dixie doesn't always have great sales they are good when you need help. I was very unhappy with their brand of diapers one day which i've been buying for a long time. I wrote them an email stating what happened with it and they sent me 2 gift cards, 1 for the value of the diapers and the other for another $10, which I thought was very nice! If I don't like the sale for a particular week, I just shop at another store if I need anything!
