Did the wag 2.00 coupon and it multiplied to 22.00 - cashier said he wasn't sure it would - but it did - then I had 6 1.00 Fructis coupons - he said he would run tell it beeped - never beeped

TOTAL OOP ------------2.53 - 2.14 OF THAT WAS TAX

Most registers are not going to beep. Reason being they are not set up to see that you are getting overage with the combine the two. It's only when you are using a MQ that is more than the product price that is beeps. Like when there was the deal on the Sure deodorant some weeks back. Could use the $1.50 ESC Q an then $1MQ for overage.

Just a note to those looking to still get in on this deal, of course, YMMV as WAGs in general is arbitriary it seems with its policies and people.

Definetely a YMMV....I just went to the Wags closest to me and they only had ONE on clearance.....and it was STILL almost $3.00! I will wait until they have it for .99 next week and hopefully get in on that deal.

I had some luck at the WAGS near my work today:

2 Garnier shampoo @ $3.99 = $7.98,
4 Garnier stying products @ $2.19 = $8.76
less WAGS $2.00 x 6 = <$12.00>
less MFGR $1.00 x 6 = <$6.00>
PROFIT: $1.26

Bought some XMAS things on clearance: $4.18

Total Bill: $4.60 (of which $1.68 was tax).

I find that on items that are free or money-makers that its best to buy something else cheap so you don't get those weird looks that your total bill was free. They look at you like you ar shop-lifting or something....IMO.

If your local Wags does not have any Fructis on clearance, I saw the week beginning 1/4 they are having it on sale for .99 after the ESC. So If you have the $1 coupons you actually get paid a penny to take it.

Keep your eye out too because there are other shampoos that are on clearance too and with q's they can be very cheap if not free. I got Infusium for free (ours were marked to 3.00) and had a 3. q. Also Pantene were 2.59 and I had a q for 3.00 off 2 so 1.09 per bottle, not free but cheap.
