Default Taking a break from WAGS unless there's a FREE deal only

I've been having really good luck at my CVS with no coupon problems and nice employees. Wags on the other hand..Hmm well I dread going there lately because none of my RR's will scan and serious employee attitudes. Don't get it since I'm always very nice, have my things organized. Tonight I bought some Gain detergent and package of mixed nuts. Total was over $15 so I had my $1.00 off q for Gain and the $10 off RR for buying the Conair last week. The RR would not go through like always so the cashier yells over to the assistant manager whom is also rude same with the store manager!! As the cashier is yelling for Mr. so and so she smiles and says to me "Or is it just because of your shopping" What? My shopping? These cashier's are nasty sometimes but a select few I could just scream at. The manager is struggling to get the RR to go through asking me what I bought and how much..duh..look at the receipt. I say to them that this seems to always happen when I try to use these RR's is this common or is it just me"? Manager says nothing and doesn't even look up at me. Cashier says yes it's you!! The RR is forced through I grab my items and leave pissed off. I'm so done with these people unless I cannot resist all totally FREE items. I sometimes feel like they have my photo in their meetings and blame me for their PROFT LOSS or something..Lol!! I just can't wait until CVS moves into both my Longs Drugs so I have 3 CVS's to choose from and just may kiss WAGS goodbye.

Well that stinks. I do not shop at WAGS too much but have very little issues comparitively. I would switch with you but then I would be in the stink.

So sorry you have had such a bad time. I have 3 WAGS to choose from, and one has a VERY helpful and nice cashier AND manager. The cashier always tries to make sure that I get all my dicsounts, coupons, etc. Today I got the FAR Revlon lipstick from the Jan. esc, and noticed that the current WAGS ad lists Revlon "face and eye makeup" BOGO. I asked if the lipstick counts as face makeup, and she said that it would not let her ring it up that way, but she was going to ask her manager about it tomorrow, since she said that lipstick should be considered face makeup and that it was not right not to consider it that. She told me to call her or stop in with my receipt, and if she got the manager's OK, she would give me my second lipstick FREE. How's THAT for good customer service?!! Then I bought the Dawn dish soap without using my coupon, so I went back in the store as soon as I realized what I had done, and the asst. manager took care of me, saying they always want to make the customers happy to keep them coming back! I told them both they were great!!

It always happens to me (so it's not just you) I find it weird because the computers have no problems with any other Qs, and this one is a store Q.

I must say that really get under my skin. But at least you are calm enough not to yell at her (as much as you want to )

Unfortunately there will always be ones like that. And honestly, I think CVS has great deals and INSTANT rewards. So, since they don't truly care about losing a customer, why give them your money? I agree

I hate to hear this because the employees at the Wags stores I shop are wonderful. Friendly, polite and go out of their way to help. My only problem is that my IPQs don't usually scan so they have to call the manager over and if I cause a line then they call to have someone open up another register. I would call the District Sales Manager and tell them that you are not shopping at their stores anymore because of the poor customer service. Usually that District Sales Manager is stopping by more often and can do something about it.

Stockpiler:

I think you should take your post and send it word for word to WAGS customer service dept.

Corporate wouldn't start these coupon programs, etc. if they didn't want customers to use them. They need to know that they have a break in the system. If enough of us file formal complaints, maybe they will do some training.

Just a thought.

Here's a funny one. I went in about a week ago and got some of the Reach toothbrushes and Quaker granola bars and random other things.

I had three $5 RRs to use. Go through all the coupons, pay and I am doublechecking my receipt. Well, I had returned four boxes of cereal that I bought the week before. He insisted on doing this in one transaction. Not a big deal except I paid $1.99 a box and he credited me three at $1.99 and one at $.99. He swore that is what the receipt said. Ok where is the receipt. He says he handed it back to me. Ok. After searching all pockets, purse, counter, and anywhere else I think it might be. I say are you sure? He insists. I have not gone anywhere. I do not remember him handing it back to me. Yeah....

Then I look at my receipt and realize I forgot to give him an in-store coupon and the chex mix I got rang up wrong. At first, he does not want to adjust the receipt. He says, well you got a good deal because I let you use two of the $5RR when they were expired. What? It was about 1 in the morning and the two that expired were from the day before or should I say hour before. Yeah....get a life.

So I say fine let's refund the whole thing. Give me back my coupons and I will go do this somewhere else as I do not normally shop there. He gives at this moment and gives me my $4 plus refund.

Never found the elusive cereal receipt but I let it go since I was done dealing with him and just had it corrected by another manager when I returned the following week to do some shopping.

I also noticed there was another in-ad coupon for the Reach tothbrushes that did not come off or he didnt' scan it. So that was another $2.40 plus the $1 he didn't credit me that I got back. Glad I check my receipts, but don't get the whole well you only $5 OOP so you should be happy mentality....not when I could have paid less.

So yeah....

i have not been shopping wags enough to get many rr deals.. I finally got one yesterday.. plan on going back for a deal I missed yesterday and use rr... my sis says they have glade oil candle w/ holder 3.99 - 1.00 Easy saver rebate=2.99- 2.50 Q (which I think I still have) = .50

those- rr should make for a happy night.. unless i have problems like the rest of you (hope not)

there is one cashier at my wags that is particularly nice.. but she isn't always there.. and then there is one that just always acts annoyed to have ANY kind of customer... I hope the really nice one is working tonight!
