Default walgreens is making me mad

I have been so loyal to my local wags for years until now. They have hired all new employees and the store is a mess.

I saw the midweek ad online and went to get a few things. There were no sale ads in the store except for the merry christmas ones. I asked a boy there and he had no idea what I meant. The products I wanted did not have the sale price listed under them, I asked a girl walking by and was told whatever the price listed was the actual cost. I walked around and none of the sale prices were up, there were no ads to be found. I just left. I'm tired of having to get the manager every time I check out in order to be charged the correct price.

I'll try the other one next time I'm close by. But I think my days of shopping walgreens may be coming to an end. I knew a woman who worked there til a few months ago, she quit for another job and said wags was cutting hours and hiring nothing but kids to work part time. Well that's what they did and now the service is horrible. I don't like having to spend extra time arguing about the listed sale price.

just needed to vent. I'll stop by the other one tomorrow and see if they will honor the purex bogo offer.

Sorry to hear your having trouble with them. Been there. Sometimes it's worth giving another location a shot. They are all run differently. Shouldn't be, but they are. I swore off the one closest to me and learned which of the others I should go to depending on the type of transaction. I thought I was in the coupon twilight zone at one of them. One of the cashiers was actually giving a mini coupon/rr lesson to a customer and gave them coupons for the deal. Other customers were bringing in inserts and giving them to the cashier to give to others. The other day I stopped into the one I swore I'd never go into and they had large 8x10 colorful signs set on a table with a display of the best rr deals. Had to double check I was in the right place LOL. Have you tried checking out at the beauty counter? In my area they seem to be better trained and transactions go more smoothly. I hope your new wags is running more efficiently.

they have new people at the beauty counter and rarely around, the one woman now is rude. i'll stop at the other one today when i'm out that way. i guess nothing lasts forever. lol. i don't know why they are transferring employees around the way they are. doing it right at christmas time was a bad idea.

Sorry your having a difficult time with wags! The one closest to me is the one I prefer, the people there are very nice and helpful, and so is all the management there! They all know me and know I get the military discount so I don't even have to show my card anymore except to new people, and so far (knock on wood) they have even been super nice, alittle slow but they get the job done. And I always go to the beauty counter also to check out. Cause I usually have multiple transactions and it's easier to just do all the transactions one after another without going and waiting in line again because of the line. And yes they seem to know more about the cpns and are much more patient about them!
