Wags RR and rain checks?

Every time I go into Wags they are always sold out of the products with the RR deals, the last time I went in a few weeks ago I finally decide to ask if they have anymore of the Crest Complete toothpaste and they say no, but I could get a rain check....I asked if I would be able to get the RR on it as well after like CVS will do with their rain checks and EB, they tell me no, but I could still get the rain check. I turned down the rain check b/c to me without the RR it wasn't worth paying over $2 even with a q (not when I know I can get TP for free!) Wanted to know if anyone knows if you can still get the credit for the RR on an item when you request a raincheck from Wags?

I am the same way....no RR...no raincheck! Um, I NEVER get tp free....show me what I'm missing!!!! Did you mean Toilet Paper ...or The Product....lol...that might make the difference...ha ha ha!

LMAO, sorry I meant toothpaste by that, I never get toilet paper free either and would love too, hahahaha!!!!

I think it depends on the store and the manager. I went to one wags and was told (rudely) no RR with rain checks. Went to another where the manager gave me a rain check and allowed me the RR. This was with the Keri lotion deal, it took weeks for them to restock. When they finally did the manager gave me a $5 gift card.

This is the exact reason that I no longer shop at Walgreens. After stopping by on various days for weeks and months and never getting the product I went for I decided that it was no longer worth it. I have a job and two kids. I don't have time to stop by Walgreens every day.

Yes granted it says that on their policy but it I think depends on the store... Wags back home wouldn't give me a rain check for the Hyland's Cold Medicine.. but when Wags was running the promo for Crest Optic White I went to one Wags where I am currently living and they gave me a rain check for one optic white sale price 3.99 plus 2 RR. I just went to a different Wags today and brought my rain check in. They deducted my 2 RR from the sale price which made it 1.99 then gave the cashier my $1.50q= oop.49 cents THEN a 2RR printed from Colgate!!! MM of 1.50

So I guess it depends on the store you attend. I was pretty frustrated with that Wags back home the Wags around here seem to be pretty cool. We shall see...

I dont know if you can get a rain check after sale is over but this is what my Wags does when I come in and it is sold out. The manager is really nice and he gives me a rain check for the price it would have been after RR amount is taken off. He will only give you one or the limit you can get on it. Now that is why I go to my Wags and not another Wags. Also by doing this they have kept me from going to Walmart and price matching where they will give it to me for the price after RR. So I suggest taking it to walmart. Hope this helps.

Thanks Bear for the link, it was the one store I didn't have the policy printed for. I wont stop by Wags usually unless I know I'll be in the area since they are about 20+ miles from me, and every time I go they are always sold out of sale items no matter what day or time I go...so I feel it is a waste of time. I was actually surprised last Saturday that they even had any of the Pure Silk Shave cream when I went so I bought out all but 1 (I had 15 q's) since it was the last night of the sale...but I'm really about to just give up on them all together.

How do you use the Drugstore flyers to price match at walmart?? For example the Optic White toothpaste Sale 3.99 -minus 2 RR= 1.99 That's the price that walmart will adjust it to? Then you use your 1.50 and pay .49 oop?. I always wanted to know how walmart handles stores with "cards/ rewards" I thought they would only adjust it to the sale price...

If anyone could clear up the vagueness that would be great
