my frustration at wags

Last week I went to wags trying to get the cornstarch 2 for $1 from the circular. They didnt have it so I got a raincheck. Sunday I found a Q $1 off 2 for the cornstarch so I was excited, because this would make it free. Of course they still don't have it in stock, and I drove around for like an hour to 3 other wags who didnt have the cornstarch either. One lady even told me they probably will not get anymore. what? How can I use my raincheck if I cant find a store who has it?? How long do the rainchecks last before they expire?? Also went looking for the cottonelle tp from this weeks ad for 6.49, they didnt have any. go figure.

I love wags but I have a rain check for the lysol freshner from earlier this month and have not seen it in any of my stores. Go figure.... I usually get most of the deals. I figure you win some and you lose some...

wags rainchecks last up until you use them. Say next year, you finally find the cornstarch and you still have the raincheck, you can use it. they never expire.

I was told the rainchecks have no exp. date on them. I also have the cornstarch and baking powder rainchecks and just plan to keep checking every time I go. If I remember correctly, the q's are good until early '09.

ok so I went to another wags today trying to find the cornstarch. I got a manager to talk to me and he said they do not carry the item. He even looked up a upc for it and said they dont even have it in the system meaning they can't even order it! I said it was in last weeks ad, he went back to the backroom to check again and I waited 5 or more minutes with a grumpy 2 year old a just left. How could they not even carry an item that was in last weeks ad!! I am so frustrated because I got all excited thinking I could finally get some free stuff, but they dont even have a upc for this! He did say to call walgreens 1-800 # and see if I can order it through them but how then can I use my coupons and still pay nothing? Seems like this one won't happen. Bummer again. I dont even want to go back to walgreens, again I couldnt find the toilet paper from this weeks ad or the ghirardelli chocolate from the ES booklet which expires tomorrow. Why advertise stuff you dont carry???
