Default Degree Clinical Deodorant BOGO/RR deal

So I missed out on the regular degree deal at walgreens, I'm still new and I didn't think about it. Any, I went back today and they were gone. However, they had the clinical deodorant, which my son uses. Its on sale for 6$ but if you buy 3 you get $6 in register rewards back. I was able to use the degree BOGO coupon, which had a max of $6 on the clinicals. I bought 4 at 6$ each, I used two BOGO coupons, and then got $6 back. So basically I got four clinical deodorants for $6, which is a great deal!

I've noticed alot of Wags shelves being cleared early on Sunday. Someone (or a few) are hitting them first thing and making it a challenge for all of us! If I don't get to one of 4 Walgreens I frequent by Sunday noon, I lose out. Hang in there. I have also had good luck with price matching at Walmart. You won't get the RR but they have enough stock for other sale items Wags is usually out of.

I know, it's kind of nuts. But I caught on quick and started going right when they open for the last 3 weeks (and no, it's not me shelf clearing by any stretch). Several times they have had only 2 or sometimes absolutely none of an item. It's bad that they stock so poorly but I'm not frustrated. I'm happy with all I've been learning... it's been great. Funny thing though, I go to both the Walgreens at Central and Ridge and the one at Maize & 21st, and they are like different chains. The one on Ridge is great, cashiers are helpful, it's very clean, etc. The one on Maize is ok, but not as good.

I wanted to thank you, I read a lot of your posts and they were so helpful since we're in the same town. I know you have kids and my youngest is 15 so if you ever need all those little kid coupons, diapers, etc, I don't need any and would be happy to give them.

Thanks! My youngest is 19 but I have 4 grandchildren so I do use the baby/kid q's. I usually shop Maple/135th, Central/Maize, 21st/Maize, and Central/West, sometimes 21st/Webb if I am out that direction. Glad you found the forum! Good luck!

Dont you think it would be nice if those that are clearing shelves would go to several Walgreens in their area, if they live in city limits? that way it gives others who just want 2 of an item can do so?

I have only been to walgreens once, it seems to me that it is easy to clear the shelves since they don't stock them. I got there when they opened and they only had a few of the 3.99 scott paper towels

I hate this and i don't get out of church until about 12:30 or 1:00. so i've talked to the manager(sp?) and asked him if he could start keeping a few extra of the RRs items in the back for me. i love my walgreens here!!!

I agree that it is not always shelf clearers. A good amount of the time at my two location, the items are low numbers in stock.
That is usually an ordering issue per location. I look at it as just luck & try not to get my panties in a bunch over no product on the shelves.
Plus, I try to only go on my way to and from work so as not to waste gas on a trip that stinks.

My WAGS also has a limited number of sale items they put out and NEVER restock. Once the shelf is clear most times it takes them 3-4 WEEKS to restock-that is nuts that they don't restock even well after the sale has ended.

I agree that lately Walgreens has not had as many sale items in stock. Their trucks come Saturday mornings here and they don't have time to stock the shelves until overnight Saturday and then that week's sale is over.
