Angry Different Walgreen's tried to refuse coupons!!!!

This morning I was unable to go my usual wg's because I had a few clients in another area. So I went to the one there, on hulen in fort worth.

I had three transactions planned, was organized and ready. I was very pleased everything was in still in stock, mine sells out early in the morning and it was already noon. So I'm all happy and then I tried to check out.

I went to the beauty counter as the front line was backed up. I told the cashier I was breaking the transactions up and she said it was fine. She got really uspet when I handed her coupons and complained that she had to put her glasses on to read them and she had a migraine from working 70 hrs in the last week. I just smiled and said I hope she gets to feeling better. She handed me the receipt and kept the rr's. I asked for them and she informed me that I could not use them on the next transaction, that I would have to wait 24hrs. At this point I was still nice and told her politely that I do this every Sunday. She started talking about her migraine again and let me know I could not use any coupons at all on my next two transactions, not just rr but regular coupons. I started getting annoyed but still being polite I asked her to call the manager. Well the manager said the cashier was correct but would let me do this one time only.

So I did two more transactions, after the second I had to insist she hand me the rr's instead of keeping them on the register. At this point I had no trust at all in this cashier. When all was said and done I had spent $20 for $80 worth of stuff so I was happy.

I did inform her that I would not be back and would let the corporate office know about her and the manager trying to refuse coupons and making up rules about everything else. She said she didn't care because working there was giving her migraines and if she wasn't allowed off next weekend to take her granddaughter to camp she would quit because the manager was refusing to give two days vacation pay on short notice. I didn't really care about all this and told her to just give my the receipts and I left.

So I will never go anywhere but the Walgreens where I live, they are the greatest people and the manager is always around being friendly with customers. Maybe that's why mine is always sold out the new one was fully stocked. lol.

I have to say, this post made me giggle. No, not what you were put through. That was NOT funny, nor necessary. But the cashier going on and on about her migraine and her future resignation due to camp issues....LOL. I just saw Flo, the character from Alice, telling the manager, "Kiss my grits." Seriously though, their interaction with you was unprofessional and very uncalled for. I'm glad you have a wonderful option in your own store so you don't have to visit that one again.
