Wags does not have a "tracking system" like the CVS Extra Care card so there is no way for the computer to know that you already received one RR. That is why you should break up your transactions. So yes you will get a RR for each transaction. When I have multiple transactions I usually go to the cosmetics counter so as to not hold up the regular line unless the store is completely dead. I never have problems with the cashiers completing my transactions.

The answers posted before me are right... you cant have more coupons than products... Thankfully I havent yet encountered any problems with coupons at my walgreens... and I use online printed coupons and store coupons together all the time. I just make sure I have enough products to be able to use all the coupons.... a very important thing i learned early.

Ribbit: Did they just refuse to take and scan it or did they can it and have it beep at them??

Couple things you should probably know.

1. RR's are manufacturer coupons.

2. The total number of coupons plus your RRs can not be more the than the number of items in your order. You technically had 2 items and 3 coupons (2 mfcs and 1 RR)

3. You could have purchased a pencil or something really small and used the coupon.

Now... The cashiers are NOT supposed to refused to scan arbitrarily as if they KNOW what they are doing.... they don't. The Machine "KNOWS" I had a similar situation and they flat refused to even scan my RRs. I called the District office and complained profusely... I got a call that very afternoon from the store manager. AND a couple days later I received a $5 bill in the mail with a note and a short list of info on RRs.

If they were RUDE to you at all call the district manager.

LOL I don't know I don't have a CVS here.

The problem is very POOR training... and a general bad attitude by some of the cashiers.
