I have a friend who lives in a small town about 20 miles away from me and her WAGS is the same way. They won't do a Manu Q with a ESC. But my WAGS let's me do it all the time.
Seems like it is a store by store policy. I would still contact corporate though and see what they have to say. |

That's the problem... they don't train like they should.
See their computers are programmed to know... if he didn't even attempt to take it... just flat out refused to even scan it... then he was wrong wrong wrong!! Call corporate with the amount of lost savings...

I have several Wags in my town. The closest store to my house will allow an ESQ and a M Q at the same time. The closest 24 hour store does not. I DID call the district offices and she told me that an ESQ IS a manufacturer coupon, Wags gets reimbursed by the manufacturer for every ESQ that is redeemed so in essence you're doubling up on manufacturer coupons which is not allowed.
It stinks that ALL Wags do not follow the same policy, but it truly does depend on the store that you shop. |

Sorry that happened to you.
Seems as though there is not a coporate policy regarding the use of MQs and ESCs. I would still contact coporate but do not be suprised if they say it is up to the individual store as to their coupon policies. The WAGs closest to me will not take expired coupons under any circumstance, but all others will take them no problem. I have had some managers give me credit back when a RR did not print and some tell me I could not use MQs and get the RR back. The inconsistency is frustrating but it is part and parcel with working these deals sometimes. I just know which stores I can go to to get the best deals with the least hassle now.
