ok.. how did this work exactly?..
I have never been the absolute best at math (story problems in particular) I had plans to go into walgreens for cheap razors.. I thought i would go in with 2 Easy saver Qs and one bogo Q.. I figured this would make them 2.99 for 2 my rationale was make the first one 2.99 and the second one 2.99 (i thought so they would be same price because if you didn't use both you would have to pay 5.99.. because of the get one at lesser value free thing.) so i thought the two qs would just balance the prices and then i would have to pay 2.99 for the first one... but after I looked at my receipt i realized they were free... I couldn't figure out how this happened.. but I guess they charge 2.99 for each and credit back original sale price of 5.99 for bogo.. I didn't know that.. do they always do this or does it vary from store to store??? it was a pleasant surprise for me.. I wish I would have had two of those bogo Qs (i was inexperienced and used the last one on a far lesser deal )

I am just as confused as you.
That's why I avoid Wags like the plague. Cashiers have a hard just excepting manu coupons. I can just imagine what would happen if I handed them the easy saver book. Now that wouldn't be a pretty sight. :P

My wags works that way...the bogo price is the original price the item rang up as. I too took advantage of the razor deal.
The best way to make sure it works out to your advantage is to be sure to give the cashier the coupons in the correct order. I held on to mine and handed her them one at a time....that way I knew my plan would work. Last edited by OCDsaver; 11-05-2008 at 12:37 PM. |

i had given them to her with the two ESQ on top and manuf bogo on bottom.. at first she looked a little confused.. then she smiled and said something like, "you got some great deals".. maybe she did it that way for me on purpose?? she seemed very nice.
![]() so to anyone else who did this wags deal, How did yours go down?? |

It works like this:
(2) Schick Quattro Razors $5.99 each - $11.98 (1) BOGO - $5.99 taken off (1) ESC coupon - $6 taken off(you only need one coupon as it take off $3 for each razor you have automatically - this works for anything that you opt to buy in multiplies that there is an ESC for) OOP - Nada - profit $.01 Now it is true that some Walgreens will work the transaction wherein the cashier will only take off $2.99 with the BOGO coupon thus making your OOP of $2.99. To avoid this, simply give the cashier your BOGO Qs first and then the ESC. Make sense?
