    Thumbs down Dang, Walgreens. :(

Just got back from the Walgreens around the corner from my job.

    I wanted to buy:
    2 Nivea Men's bodywashes (since they're bogo) using a $1 off coupon
1 Listerine Whitening rinse (using $2 mfr and $3 store)
3 Neutrogena soap (regular or acne) or
3 Neutrogena travel size face wash or
3 Neutrogena lip product with SPF (using $1 off Nivea sun items)

    1) They wouldn't let me buy 2 body washes. The store imposed a limit of one per customer even if you were buying 2 in one transaction.
    2) They woudln't let me use the $2 IP coupon on the listerine. The manager said they stopped taking IPs about a month ago. I just used one last week, but I didn't say that.
    3) There was no neutrogena soap (of course), I didn't see any travel size Neutrogena products, and I couldn't use the coupon on the lip product with SPF (not sure if the register didn't allow it or the cashier didn't).

    So I walked away empty-handed.

Will go to a diff Walgreens on my way home from work to see if I have better luck.

How frustrating. I hate it when that happens. I hope you have better luck at another store.

At Walgreens #2, I fared a bit better.

Still couldn't buy 2 Niveas. Limit 1 per customer, as they have very few and don't get more until Friday. To me, the store KNEW the sale was coming up (heck, I knew it weeks in advance) and should've ordered appropriately.

Also, no Neutrogena, but that was no surprise.

I was able to get the Listerine, but not without trouble. I handed her the 2 coupons: mfr on top, store on bottom. She scanned the store one first. Then the mfr one said "no item found." She kept trying over & over. I suggested that the order she scanned the coupons made a difference. She and the other cashier disagreed (politely, though). She called a mgr but before the mgr got there, she voided the last scanned item (store coupon). When she went to show the mgr that the mfr coupon wouldn't scan, it DID scan! (It was kinda funny.) Then she scanned the store coupon. She and the other cashier came to the conclusion that, surpringly (to them), the order DID matter.

My store still claims they have no control over ordering.

What is the point of a BOGO sale if you can only get 1? That is not right unless your store charges 1/2 price on the BOGOs...and at MY walgreens they do the full price and $0 for the second...
