So I went tonight specifically for the Almay deal. Went to the front register and it didn't even ring up 50% off let alone BOGO. So I saw my favorite cashier at cosmetics and said I would go over there and have her help me. Well it rang up this time for the 50%. Not what I was hoping for...spent almost $6 oop and lost $7RR on the whole deal. I don't/haven't bought makeup FOREVER and didn't want to spend this kind of money on it, but I put that poor girl through the ringer trying to figure it all out that I didn't want to take anymore time figuring it out. Anyways I got makeup...but spent ALLOT more then I wanted to.

If its more than you wanted to spend oop, then just return it. No sense in keeping something you aren't happy with ether product wise, or price wise.

I was thinking about returning some of the stuff, and then realized that my first transaction's receipt is not in my bag, so it must be at the store. Either way I think I will just gripe a little but just hope my next trip is even better to make up for it Thanks for the suggestion though.

well first trans.
2-mascaras 1-$7.99 1-$6.99 -$8-$3.50 (only rang up B1G1 50%)
1-PB foundation $9.99 1-PB eyeshadow $7.49 (only rang up B!G! 50%)-$3.75=
$17.24+tax
so I used my $12RR that I had from last week, plus $6 something oop
got 10RR and 5RR
tried to roll it again for the foundation and eyeshadow, wouldn't take the RR's and wouldn't get RR's from it, so cancelled that.
bought 2 more masc. $3.50+ tax and wanted to use the 5RR so I had to get some fillers, ended up spending another $1 oop and now have 10RR.
Hope that wasn't too confusing, but I was a little thrown when it wasn't the BOGO, oh well

I kinda feel your pain... I bought 4 more one coat mascaras, and not paying attention I mixed the sizes/types. The $4 Q only took off for 3 of them, so I had to pay $4.00 for the 4. Not saying that's a bad price, but when you think something will be free and it's not, it's not a nice surprise.

Yeah, the 1st store I stopped at it was B1G1 50% off. My OOP was 15. something. It should have been lower as I wasn't getting the extra 4.00off, so for 2 mascaras I only got 4.00 off. So, after I got my 15RR I went to the store down the raod & it was BOGO. Do you have another store close by? If so, I would try that store. I noticed that the stores that are 24hr ones are the ones ringing BOGO 50%, instead of BOGO free.

I'm with you. The 2 RR deals worked fine for me, but I messed up on the mascara. It only took 1 $4 Q. I got 2 double packs, used 1 $2.5 RR and the $4 Q and paid .98. Not bad oop, but I lost my $2.50 RR. I almost took it back when I got home and noticed 8 other mascaras in my stockpile, but I get soooo many freebies at my WAGS, and they are so nice, I'm not bothering. Just more for the give-away pile.
