At WAGS today, all the Halloween and Fall stuff was 75% off. I found two leaf candy dishes that were 2/$5 regular price, so they would be 2/$1.25 with 75% off. They rang up wrong and I told the lady they were 75% off. She then uses a calculator and STILL charges me the wrong amount. I brought her attention to it again, and she said, "Well, I'm not too good at math! How much do you WANT to pay for them?" I should have said, "I'll take them for free!", but I showed her the correct way to figure it on the calculator. Geesh!

Don't they have a key on the register to put in the discount off the regular price of something? I have seen other stores do this.
She is not good at math? I bet if they shorted her paycheck, she would become real good at math very quickly. |

Maybe this is why many cashiers don't know how to give the proper change back if the register doesn't tell them how much to give. |
