Default ~~~ Great price for Oatmeal at Walgreens ~~~

If you dont have any coupon, you can either do:

A) If you just want the deal
(4) Quick 1-minute Oatmeal $3.18 each BOGO in-ad coupon
Total = $6.36 plus tax
(pay with any RR that you have)
Received: $5 RR
Cost after RR: $0.35/Box (plus tax)

B) If you want coupons for next purchase, then do:

(2) Quick 1-minute Oatmeal $3.18 each BOGO in-ad coupon
(2) Instant Oatmeal (variety, original, or brown sugar) 2/$5 look for the specially marked box with stated in the front "$4 coupons inside"
Total = 8.18 plus tax
(pay with any RR that you have)
Received: $5 RR
Cost after RR: $0.80/Box (plus tax)
Inside each Instant oatmeal Box, you will find
$1/1 True Delights Granola Bars
$1/1 Life Maple Brown Sugar Cereal
$1/1 Oatmeal Squares Cereal
$1/2 Instant Oatmeal

Then you can repeat transaction A, or if you do transaction B, then either do:

C) If you dont want more coupons:
(4) Quick 1-minute Oatmeal $3.18 each BOGO in-ad coupon
Use (2) $1/2 Instant Oatmeal
A cheap filler
Total = $4.36 plus tax
(pay with any RR that you have)
Received: $5 RR
Cost after RR: FREE (plus tax)

D) If you want more coupons:

(2) Quick 1-minute Oatmeal $3.18 each BOGO in-ad coupon
(2) Instant Oatmeal (variety, original, or brown sugar) 2/$5 look for the specially marked box with stated in the front "$4 coupons inside"
Use (2) $1/2 Instant Oatmeal
A cheap filler
Total = 6.18 plus tax
(pay with any RR that you have)
Received: $5 RR
Cost after RR: $0.30/Box (plus tax)
Inside each Instant oatmeal Box, you will find
$1/1 True Delights Granola Bars
$1/1 Life Maple Brown Sugar Cereal
$1/1 Oatmeal Squares Cereal
$1/2 Instant Oatmeal

Then just repeat to buy more oatmeals if you want them
HTH

I went to WG after reading this post and got 4 quick oatmeal canisters but the store didn't print out RR here

I didn't return them but highly likely will later because the price is still more expensive than grocery stores like publix when that place has BOGO sale.

My store was tricky and put theirs on sale 2/$4.99, so I had to buy 5 to get my RR to print!

Thanks for the scenarios. I went to Wags today and forgot about this. I didn't have the coupons with me anyway, but we eat a LOT of oatmeal around here, so I might go tomorrow and get this since it is so cheap to stock up. I have RR from today to use towards it :-).

The only problem I see is that if you're using $1/2 then isn't that considered double dipping if you use RR? Since the coupon is each for 2 items? I'd make sure you have some filler items handy just in case you have to abide to the 1 coupon per item or however it is stated on the coupon.

yes, you are right, I added a cheap filler to my first post.
I dont know why your Walgreens didnt print out a RR, maybe the machine was broken? I went to 3 different Walgreens yesterday, and all went smoothly according to plan. So I suggest that you return the items, and then buy again.

Went this morning with $2 RR in hand. Walked out -$6.39 cash w/ 4 quaker oats (use a ton for my awesome no bakes) 1 vaseline lotion and a new lipstick (from clearance) and $7 RR! Worth my time to hit Wags today! Thanks for filling me in on the deal!
