I suppose I have to get two Wag's flyers if I want to take advantage of some of the coupons. the way the flyer is printed, coupons on ones side of the page are partly aligned with different coupons on the backside of the page, meaning when I cut out one coupon on the front of the flyer, I cut half of the coupon on the other side rendering it useless.
I guess either I need two flyers or I cut the whole strip and tell the cashier to just scan this, this and this one. |

You don't even have to clip them let alone get 2 ads. Just flag the pages your q's are on, and have her scan the q at checkout.
I always give my MQ's first, and then have her scan the Wag Q. Reason being, if the Wag's Q drops the price below the value of the MQ, the register will beep. If the MQ is given first, the value is taken off the higher priced item and the Wag's q drops it even more. |

I bought three boxes of Kleenex yesterday and the girl said I didn't need to cut the q out of the flyer and she didn't even need to scan it. She said that 89 cents was the sale price that week. She said not even sure why they have a q in the flyer for it.
I usually have them scan the q while it's still intact in my ad.

Some wags q's need to be scanned others don't. It's strange, it's like they input some as a sale price so they don't have to handle extra q's on items they know will fly out the door. Those are great cause you can get around the limit if you have a MFQ that makes you buy multiple items

Sometimes the price is in the system so they do not even need to scan the Walgreens coupons....other times they do so always check.
I bought 2 of the Hydrogen Peroxide a few weeks ago (they were 3 for $1.00 but I only needed 2 as fillers). The cashier scanned the items but not my coupon and threw it away. I asked how much they were and she said 2 for $1.00. I told her the coupon was 3 for $1.00 so she then scanned it. Gotta watch them... |

I just tell them "Coupon Code xxxx", that way they just punch it in. Especially on the coloring book coupons, or the Healthy Saver coupon books, I just keep them in my binder, and point at it, to show I have it, and say "Coupon Code xxxxx" that way they don't want to take my good coupons away from me. I've only bought one coloring book, and I've done the Neosporin deal 8 times with the same coupon by doing it this way.
