To think, I was just going to shop at Wags this week for the first time in months(May was my last purchase) b/c they had a lot of things on sale I need. Maybe I need to re-think that. Not sure I want to go through all of this nonsense for some cheap soup and meds.

I did the Triaminic deal one time, no problems. Used that RR to get the Murine earwax removal: got my RR for that with no problems. Sometimes I really think managers shake a Magic 8 Ball to tell them what to do...
Yeah...it got me laughing. Magic 8 Ball should I wear my hair with a part today or do a crossover. Magic 8 Ball says, My sources say no. Magic 8 Ball do people like me. Magic 8 Ball says Reply Hazy, try again. Lol....

Anyhoo, I did call corporate just a little bit ago. Very nice lady told me she would call me back after she sorted everything out.

Her exact words were, "He told you what!?!" followed by, "That's like telling you he doesn't want your business." My thoughts exactly lady.

Normally I also wouldnot have gone. But this weeks deals with all the Wags Qs are defenitely not worth leaving.I may have swallowed some pride, but hey I definitely need this cough syrup, strips, ointment, antiseptic spray and some mouthwash. And my, I know with small kids and change of season and soccer season coming up the consumption is going to be high and these things are 5- 6 bucks easy when you actually need them at 4 AM and that time no otptions.
I know I have some 25 bucks worth of RR in my wallet now.. it will be tough to spend that. But I already have much more worth of stuff now which I would definitely need.. that even if I ended up picking up bottled water or soda at their inflated price I will be still ahead.

I am never gong to understand the Walgreens ins and outs and rolling RRs. I am lucky my cashiers and managers are really nice, so even if I have a RR problem they really try to help and are patient. The manager at my store told me that the leftover newspaper coupons go to the cosmetic counter, to help people save when they don't have coupons, which I think is great.
I just keep it simple there, this week I bought the True North crackers 2 different days, $1.50 OOP after $1.50c, got my $3 RRs, will roll those into papers next week, like getting a paper for free for each free bag of crackers. I rarely step into Walgreens since they did away with their rebates, so not worth my time usually, but this week's deal was so simple even I could handle it!
Too bad that happened to you.

It doesn't happen everywhere. Your store might be worked by nice, intelligent people who WANT you to buy things. I suggest giving it a try: if you have a bad experience you don't want to repeat, you'll know for sure.

There's 2 I used to shop at regularly. Both had their good and bad points. I stopped shopping at them both b/c the bad was outweighing the good. One of the mgrs. liked to follow me around and send the employees to follow me too. I really don't need a posse when I shop.

I just got tired of dealing with their "policy of the day" attitiude.

Sooo... The store manager just called me & said that his AM misunderstood what he was talking about. What he meant was that I can only use one RR per transaction not one coupon which is what I thought.

I did ask him specific questions such so if I were to buy X & X can I use two coupons, can I stack coupons, etc. just to make sure we were on the same page. He said, yes, yes, and yes. I guess he said what the problem was people returning things because they were not getting their RRs so it was causing a problem and he was trying to limit that problem by putting a limit on the RRs you can use as most people did not understand that while you can use an RR to pay and will get another in return you need to make you use ones not from the same manfacturer in order to do that.

So yeah.... In the end, he apologized & said he would talk to his staff(again) and clarify what he meant. He also thanked me for bringing it to his attention. So I will give it another go and see what happens. Have a litte faith, right?
