That was just awful, and you (or anyone)doesn't deserve to be treated that way!

As for the city/county thing, I can see it to a point. I'm from a very small (think 3500 people small) in southwestern PA. They just got a Walmart within the last 8 years or so, and their only other option is a high priced grocery store. These people go out of their way to treat their customers-they are repeat customers who spend a lot of money on a regular basis. Now I live in Baltimore, and many cashiers just don't care how they treat people because they figure the customer will just go to another store. If I have one rude cashier at Food Lion, I have 11 other grocery stores within a 15 minute drive, not including a Super Walmart. It's beyond frustrating, but I see and understand your point.

well do u think that the DM on PURPOSE gave u the wrong #

idea - do a google search on the fax # and see if anything pops up

next time u get ahold of then see if u cant get them to send u something in the mail about that raincheck poilicy

if so then i got to call my DM
its not a habbit that i shop there but occansionly they will be out of things then u get that - there is no way that we can take RR off on a raincheck

keep us updated

idea - if u have that raincheck still use that as ur proof that it is allwoeed - just show it to her next time

can u try another wags?

I'm not sure if he gave me the wrong # or not, I reverse white paged it and it said it was a private land line. If he doesn't call me today, I'm calling corporate today.

I want in on some of that Starbuck Ice Cream action, and he needs to fix her so I can have my fix!

There is another store but it is 30 miles the opposite direction.....might have to do it though!

mnthoney, It's me Dawn, and I wasn't offended at all, so I apologize if I came off that way. I just wanted to make the comment that none of us, no matter where we are should have to put up with rudeness. It just isn't acceptable and I guess some people need to be reminded. What on Earth makes one think that being rude to a customer is a good idea? You'd think in these hard economic times that customer service would really be top priority for all retail establishments.

Make sure to post again when you hear from the DM so we can see how this saga plays out!!

I called Corporate yesterday and let them know I hadn't been responded to and I had not stepped foot in that store since.

Today the District Manager called me and tried to say he has tried to call me the last 2 mondays in a row, I told him that's funny this is my business phone, I return all numbers received even if a message isn't left, you should have left a message.....He hewhawed around
He told me I was absolutely correct and he would take care of the problem. He sounded like he was calling from his cell phone, I got his number now!

So......I got to go shopping.....I still didn't go to that store, but I did hit another up......I'll start new thread.
