Default RR and coupons - What is the deal now?

Last night I bought Rogaine. Add says $10 RR. There was a sticky on the Rogaine. Used the sticky - No RR. Manager told me you can no longer use coupons on RR items.

What? I swear I have done this a dozen times.

Anyone have any insight on this?

Thanks -Cathy

Using a coupon would(should) not impact you getting a RR. Having said that WAGs is defunct sometimes. Anytime I have a problem getting an RR, I just ask the manager to re-ring the item by itself at another register where the RR usually prints without an issue. You can try this or just do a return.

They rang it up as an experiment without the coupon and it spit out the RR.

The manager said I could not use a coupon and get the RR.

I just did not use the cuopon and I got the RR.

It seems to me I should have been able to use the peeley /sticky coupon and get the RR.

I know I have done this before.

Do you think a email to corperate would shed some light on this?

Thanks! I did call them and they said it was at the discretion of the store manager.

They are sending me a $10 RR and a copy of the corperate coupon policy.

I will report back if it looks any different than the one you guys already posted.

Appreciate the help!

I just used a coupon on an item that received a RR about 2 hours ago. Used the $3 Dr Scholls Wart Freeze medecine and received $5 RR. No problems at all.

At the discretion of the manager . . .

No wonder the rules are different at every store!

I had that happen to me last month with the Dry Idea deal. It was on sale for 2.00, I had a $2 IP q so it did not want to print my rr. Luckily, at both locations, the manager was happy to give me my rr even though the cashier at one location want to tell me it was b/c I used a q. It should not matter if you use a q or not!
