Unhappy Here We Go Again :(

I ran by my work WGS to grab some free Pringles & Mighty Dog and the Right Guard MM. I found a great filler too-they've got some single-sleeve box crackers on clearance @ 25 cents. Cheaper than the caramels.
Anyway, get to the cashier and she scans my items, then scans 1 $1. Pringle Q.,fine, second $1. Pringle Q, BEEP!
I fire up the recorded message I've told over and over again..."Please just adjust the can of Pringles to $1. and the register will accept the coupon-this is your WGS Corp. policy". "I can't do that." Well of course you can't, sweet heart, because your manager has failed to train you properly ( I say for the up-teenth time!!!) -in my head, not to her face.
Assist mgr. comes up, leaves for a few and returns to tell me it says on the Q-pon you can only use "1 per transaction". ALLLLLLLLLLLrighty then.
I explain to her I've been thru this identical routine in the very same store, very same cashier a few months ago and the Mgr.assured me she was going to re-train her cashiers to comply with Corp. policy.
Obviously, these 2 were on a Hawaiian holiday at the time.
Lunch is only so long for a working girl, so I play the game, do a 2nd trans and out the door. I call Corp. when I get back to the office...very apologetic, took all the info of my sorry tale & said someone will contact me.
2 hours later, Mrg. does call me, apologetic once again, saying she will review their Corp. Q-pon policy with employees.
When will they ever get this right? At every WGS store? Geez.

DebbieP - I posted almost the exact same scenario yesterday at a WAGS during my lunch hour regarding Pringles too. I walked out leaving my products on the counter - took back my Qs though - and called corporate. The store manager called me within the hour stating that he was very sorry and would honor my coupons if I'd come back, and he needed to retrain his staff properly. Well, I'd already shopped 2 other WAGS by then. I'm just tired of playing that game over and over again - just like you.

My dh had a smilar situation the other night but at CVS with the Always Infinity...he wanted a rain check but the manager was saying no it won't adjust blah blah.......my husband insisted I'd gotten some the day before and it adjusted to $4.99....so she took the coupon and went somewhere came back and handed him a raincheck for 6 but she didn't give him the coupon back and he only realized it when he got home.......he was so mad.....now we are short a coupon but did get the raincheck....go hubby!! he does love me He hates going to CVS they are always rude....that's why we had quit shopping there for awhile....

You are too funny, Debbiep. ....and my daughter lives in E. Cobb, right near you. I'll wave as I pass by next time I drive through from Florida.
