Default Angry with Walgreens manager

I was trying to purchase a tube of deodorant and a couple other items today. I had a coupon for every item I was going to buy and I was going to use a $2 register reward. I forgot that you can't use a register reward and have a coupon for every item you purchase. The manager was so rude to me about it. He said, "You can't have three coupons for one item." I politely told him I had ONE coupon for each item I wanted to purchase, but he made me so angry. Then, I told him I didn't want to purchase anything, and I would like my coupons back. He didn't say another word to me, but did give me my coupons. I e-mailed corporate about his attitude, but we'll see if they do anything about it. I would have purchased the items if it hadn't have been for his attitude. I've always been really fortunate when using my coupons, but I knew at some point somebody would have something to say about it.

It happens more and more. Manager has no business to be rude. It is very annoying when at the counter you are given these excuses. But perhaps this beeping is no fault of the managers and the cashiers. It is all the way things are setup.
Yesterday I saw a lady buying two electric items worth about 60 USd total. She took out 4 RRs to pay. The cashier said the he could only take one RR.The lady got upset and said that she got these 4 RRs worth 9 dollars jus a couple of days ago and she has to use them. The cashier called the manager came who said the same thing . What a strategy? Now the poor lady will have to come again and again to spend her RRs. At least she is all set for 3 more trips.

Are you serious?

If any of you are not familiar with WGS monkey-business & have issues with folks there, CALL CORP right away. The call is free and the str mgr. is required to get back with you in a timely manner. They do follow-thru.
Now, if they could only get it right the first time around.

There are stores I don't set foot into anymore because they are jerks. I did call corporate and they said that someone would get ahold of me within 2 days--it is almost 2 months and nothing. They also promised to send what they call their coupon policy and haven't seen that either. I have two stores that I love and they are very nice and helpful. One time my oop was higher then I planned and the cashier told me to wait a minute and pulled out a couple of q's that were under the counter for some of the things I had. She is a sweet girl!

i am fortuante to have more than one of each store around me...i have nothing really close but its worth an extra five or even ten minute drive to avoid the stores that seem not so coupon friendly. some people just have no manners and no sense of kindness or peoples feelings and should not be put in a job where they work with people imo. dont let it ruin your day...go somewhere else and get your good deals and be happy...forget him!

I don't like Wags RR rules, maybe I am missing out on some good deal but it's just too much to remember and hoops to jump thru. CVS treats me right!

Even if you forgot about the register reward needing an extra item, there is NO excuse for the manager's rudeness! You'd think, in these uncertain economic times, that he would be nicer....

I have a few errands to run tomorrow, and I think I'll check out another Walgreens. Their rules with the RR are ridiculous. I'm definitely not holding my breath for a response from corporate. I like CVS so much better anyway. It just seems like I haven't been able to do as well there lately.
