Default Walgreens rocks!

further in my post is the information on the upcoming Friends and Family day....July 31st!

Today I walked out paying $36 for $108 worth of product........my favorite asst manager grabbed my binder and flew around the store pulling out the best deals She even went back and got some coupons from her folder in back that she said I needed!

Lately I've been dropping off coupons that I won't use and I know they have the item in the store. She's very grateful. Tells me the sales are up the days the coupons go on. In fact her Manager came out to thank me and tell me how much they appreciated my business! They then gave me a coupon f(and a couple to pass out) for July 31st......Friends and Family get 15% off the entire purchase that day of everything (except prescriptions) in the store.........even after clearance and coupons!! You can bet I'll be saving up........we already have our eyes on a few things that we never see on sale

Claudia,

Come on up! There's plenty of empty housing around here.

I think my little corner of the world is pretty nifty.........we live in the country....just at the edge of town.......but close enough to everything that we could want.....including 9 miles to UCF.... our little town of 30,000 recently made one of the top 100 hometowns in the USA to live in.....

Lovely WAGs you have there Carol.

Mine isn't as red carpet, but they smile & wave when I come in so at least they're happy to see me or good at pretending.

Wow....my Wags cashiers are very friendly but I don't see that happening.

I just started shopping there a few weeks ago but plan to use all the advice on the couponmom forum and start going there more though.

I left there last night with approx 85.00 in merchandise for just over $30.00. My 9 yr old daughter was amazed at the whole "couponing thing" at checkout. When we left she said "Mom I can't believe we bought all that stuff for 30 bucks!" I hope I'm teaching her something. Her best find was school supplies for September. 20 mechanical pencils in a pack for .75 on clearance and a stapler/staples for .25 cents. How could I say no to that?

Oh yeah....and I bought the cereal because it was producing $1 RR and I had q's so it was a decent deal. But it got even better when my daughter opened a box and it had a $5.00 Discover card in it. If you count my card I won, I made $1.00 and have 3 boxes of cereal to show for it! Woo HOO!

very nice! I'll often find items like car markers, index cards, tape on sale there. In fact soon they'll have their index card sale and I'll be stocking up for my ds and dd who are still in college and still using them by the 100's.

LOL I started shopping at CVS because of couponmom having been a loyal customer of Walgreens for many, many years. I still lean to Wags because I've always found the staff to be so friendly. I think my taking the time to drop off coupons for the manager has ramped it up to another level.
