Has anyone noticed this at WAGS?

This is only my second trip to Walgreens, but I find this frustrating.
Some items on sale are not marked as such -- but some are. (:confused.)

The item I went in for was limited to only certain varieties (ad didn't say that.)

Some items that are listed in flyer have a different price than is mentioned. (ex: $1.79 on shelf tag vs "regular price $1.99" in ad) but the size is right.

I've been reading everyone's comments about shopping at Walgreen's and have decided that I will not go out of my way to shop there. (Did get a friendly cashier though.) I might wander in for clearance items though. There were some good ones.

Unadvertised special I ran across: 9pack (double rolls) Angel Soft for $4 (less $1 IP coupon = $.33/roll.) Also found the gum someone mentioned for $.62/multipacks (different sizes) and $.32 single packs.
Jane make-up was on clearance too. I got a double eye-shadow for $2.19.

There are many things I have noticed about Wags. Many GREAT deals with RRs are not in stock and / or they have a shelf full of a particular item at 1 P.M. and then 1 hr later bam they're gone. Or are they put away in the back somewhere? I noticed this about the vanity fair napkins I bought the other day. .75 clearance had about 20 on the shelf about an hr later bam they're gone. I only bought two. HMMMMMM

yes, I've noticed this both in Wags and CVS ......I now carry a flyer with me to double check everything. I've gotten really annoyed with CVS near me pulling the ads off the shelf on Thursday......Wags waits until Sat. afternoon...

There are some items that are coming in limited amounts....this is happening to more and more retail as the economy worsens.....it could be worse......when I was in Russia they were out of Sudafed equivalent......we were told they might get them in 6 weeks! the shelves were almost bare and people would come in daily to see if the items were there......
