Scored big at WAGS today!

Went to Wags today while we were out and about.

Checked the Dove soap.......shelf empty still even though they got their del. yesterday.

Checked the Dove deodorant.....only 1 left.

Checked the Reach toothbrushes... nothing on clearance that I had a q for.

I was beginning to get really disgusted until I checked the clearance endcap. There were several bottles of DOVE shampoo on clearance. I just happened to have 5 q's and decided I'd buy them at .99 a bottle and throw in a deodorant just in case the deal would print a RR. I didn't think it would since they were marked at 2.49. Well kids, it WORKED!

I also found some Pantene conditioner for $2.49.

Cruised the aisles some more and found 15 ct. Wags anti. bacterial wipes on clearance for .25. Also found some Dial body wash trial sizes for .24.

Here's what I got for all of $7.91. And I still have $2 in RR to use next trip!

2 Pantene conditioner
5 Dove shampoo
2 Lady Speed Stick
1 Dove deodorant
8 pkgs. anti bac wipes
8 Dial body wash trial sizes
1 Wags pain reliever (had a headache)
2 Peanuts toothbrushes


And, my Mom who never gets out much anymore because she's not well, found some SH nail polish she wanted and I had a q for it. It was marked 2/$3 from last week I guess, but the mgr. honored the price for us. My mom was thrilled. She wants to go with us again!

Six months ago, I would have paid almost $8 for 2 deodorants. Boy, how things have changed.

Where typically do they keep the clearance?

We have 2 stores in our area. They both have a clearance end cap now at the very back of the store. They also have clearance tags throughout the aisles, so I scan as I walk the entire store.

Love it when that happens!!! I think they have great clearance prices!

I started calling ahead before I go. We live about 1/2 hour away and both times I went this month, they were out of the Dove single bars. Called yesterday, they only had 2. I am going to try again next week, I've still got my raincheck for the 99 cents Dove single bars...
