Todays WAGS story (longish)

So I go to do the buy 8 Dove/get 10$ catalina (MM).....I gather my items and plan to do 2 transactions....generate the cat then buy milk, OJ, and cookies (bogo) (you know, the necessities of life lol) The manager is there and is at the register when I approach and tell the cashier, we're going to do 2 transactions.....rings soap, no catalina......I point this out, she shrugs her shoulders.....(a slight eye roll and lip purse as well) I see the red light on the cat machine and tell her.....I get nothing from her.....the manager then asks her "why you let it sit like that?" shes starts making excuses....he's p/o now (at her and is bi*&$%#ing her out) and I say "just void the transaction,I'm not in the mood today to argue, I'll just go down the street to a Walgreens whose catalina machine is working" and the manager says "Oh no your not" and he voids, sends me to the make up counter, calls a diff cashier and asks HIM if HIS cat is working" he doesn't know"so I lean over and see the green light and tell him, yes its working.........and viola! it does......I love when the manager is there...he makes them work things right...no wonder the cashiers cringe when they see me.......too bad...I got a gallon of milk, a gallon of OJ, 2 pkgs of cookies and 8 bars of soap for $8.62 oop ..yes.......

How funny. I especially enjoyed the part where YOU leaned over and saw the green light and told him, "yes, it's working." Hysterical!!!

I know, the manager smiled as well..........well you know ya gotta do what ya gotta do...........LOL

its all freakin HILARious......!! and IAM in a mellow mood and not prepared for battle........

One time the cashier couldn't get my Qs to scan at CVS so she left to get the manager. I got tired of waiting and leaned over to try it myself. You could have heard them squawking out in the parking lot - "MA'AM YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO TOUCH THE SCANNER!!!!" Geez, just trying to help ya out :-)

LOL.the truly funny part is WE know more about their machines and policies than they do.......whasup wit dat?

Where is the rr deal for Dove listed?

Its buy 8 dove products get 10$ RR.....I don't think its listed.....I read about it here......its just that the dove soap is 99 cents (it IS on sale) so I paid 8.44 for 8 bars and got a 10$ cat back............Others have purchased the 99 cent trial dove deodorant and it worked....

A little tidbit for those of you who self check: my cashier at wags showed me how to pop open the machine and check it for paper. There is just a little button you press and voila! You can easily verify if there is paper to print your (hopefully many) cats.
