Mine was pretty much what I planned. I KNEW I would get the business about the foil, so when they gave me a hard time about it, I just told them to forget it...but this is what I did...
Trip 1
1 - Fuzion Gamer $8.99 ($4 mfg q) = $4.99
OOP = $5.87, rec'd $6 in rr's
Trip 2
2 - Glade Fabric and Air $2.99 ea (BOGO mfg q) = $2.99/2
2 - Oust Surface and Air $2.99 ea ($1 mfg q + BOGO) = $1.99/2
3 - Arizona Tea (WAG's q) = $2/3
1 - Edge Shaving Gel ($1.99 WAG's q + $1 mfg q) = .99
Total $7.97
less $6 rr
OOP = $1.97 plus tax
Before Discounts, q's etc for both trips $35.62
Total OOP = $9.37, PLUS I receive $4 rebate so OOP is really $5.37

todays tale of WAGS woe..long
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
so I go to WAGS today with a plan and go directly to the asst. manager who is ringing ppl up (its busy) (also the same one I had an issue with LAST week)
so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt....anyway, I tell him we are going to do 2 transactions........1) razor deal... (4 $ q) = 6$ RR..no problems....... 2) 4 boxes of Frosted mini wheats, and 3 foil......I have 2 qs for the cereal (1.5 off 2) and 1 q each on the foil (1$ off each)......rings up....takes q and then trys to tell me I can't use the RR......"really? why?"/ "register won't take it" /"why"/ "you have too many q's"/ "nonsense, I have 5 plus the in-ad for the foil and a RR, thats 7....7 items, 7 q's"/"well then, you haven't spent enough" (now he's grasping for a reason) and in the interim he is staring at the RR that he JUST gave me and reading it over and over...searching for a reason......so he just flat out says "NO".....so I have him re ring the whole thing (which is what I had to do last week as well) and I hand him the q's in a different order....it works..imagine that. So I ask him "why did it work THIS time on the same exact items and not LAST time?" (we're looking at 15 minutes into it) and he says "because you gave me the q's in a different order" (like I'M the problem) and I reply "well, why didn't YOU know that?" and he shrugs....SHRUGS...and I tell him "Maybe you ought to learn your own coupon policies" and I'll give him this he says "well, I learned something today" and I say "So did I" (that he is untrained and brain dead)......no wonder I stay out of there if possible.... you wouldn't believe all the huffing and sighing behind me........tough.....go to the other cashier..I'm having a "coupon situation"....LOL LOL

This is why I went into WAG's first, got my razor then went to CVS, Kroger and then back to WAG's to get the rest of my stuff w/the $6 rr's. What a pain in the you-know-what. I mean I drive right past the store to go home, but I shouldn't have to do it this way...It is the only way though that I can avoid the aggrivation.

I was a brave girl today. For the first time, I worked out the specific transactions I wanted to do before I went to WAGs. It almost fell apart at my usual store because they didn't have 2 boxes of Prilosec which I needed to kick off my RRs. However, they did have my 20 free photo prints ready, so at least I was able to get 1 good deal there. (I also technically got a compliment from the photo people. I do photography on the side, but not as a business. I think of myself as a professional even though I don't get paid to do it. When I picked up my prints, the lady at the photo booth said that I had to sign a release proving that I own the copyright to my photos since they are "professional" photos. She shouldn't have kept me waiting 15 minutes while she searched for the form, but it was nice to know that they're attempting to protect my copyrights.)
Anyway, I had to go to a different WAGs...an untouched WAGs. You've heard of them - when you walk in with your binder, the employees think you're working and none of the door-buster items have been cleaned out yet. Good news - you've got a chance of getting the items you want. Bad news - the staff is going to be unfamiliar with the kind of deals you're stringing together.
#1:
2 28 ct Prilosec $19 - $3/1 - $34.66 OOP, earned $10 RR
#2
2 Free Reynolds wrap (newspaper and in-ad Qs)
1 Venus razor (I couldn't figure out the Free part)
4 2L Ginger ale
TOTAL - 1.77 OOP, Used $10 RR, Got $2 RR + $6 RR
There was a problem with this transaction. The cashier said that I didn't have the correct version of the razor even though the shelf had it clearly labeled as eligible for the $6 RR. The $6 RR didn't print, so only the Manager could exchange the "bad" razor for the "good" razor. He finished my transactions. However, he wasn't sure why I wanted to do multiple transactions. He didn't accuse me of anything, but I could tell that he wasn't thrilled about it. "Not thrilled" is a far cry from the treatment some of you have gotten. So, no biggie.
#3
2 packs WAGs brand feminine pads (comp to Always) B1 G1@50%
2 cans OUST (BOGO Q and rebate)
TOTAL - 1.17, Used $6 RR
#4
3 tubes WAGs hand lotion (in-ad Q)
1 bottle WAGs hand sanitizer
TOTAL - 1.60, Used $2 RR
#5
Then I had used the $5 ink refill Q
GRAND TOTAL $45.81, Retail - $96.94 (including those 20 free prints)

RR first
MQ second
Wags Q last
This is the order to hand over the Qs. Do not even hand them the next group of Qs until they finish with the first set you give them. I had a similar situation and the manager was less than happy at how long it was taking. Her explanation to the cashier was that I was not using the RR how they are supposed to be used. (2 transactions in 1 visit to the store) I told her that it was exactly how the RRs are supposed to be used. She was not stormed off in a huff when the transaction was over. I laughed the whole way to the car.
