I hope they don't take the rebate program away! I was just getting into it, and got my first gift card last week! (pouting)

I doubt it - they have done it for so long.... many many years. I can't see them dropping it and doing nothing else.

Changing the system would be the logical thing to do. Something that is not synonymous with WAGs in general unfortunately.

Will they still have the monthly coupons in the ESC or is the whole program leaving?

Okay - obviously your ASST. manager is a little mis-informed. First off - they are an asst mgr. not the store mgr. - BIG difference.

The system is being revamped. They are doing away with in come May but are going to put something else in place. The company is just not sure what it is yet. Trust me - I got this from a very reliable source. It may end up being something like CVS's or something completely new. They are still working on it. I am sure that by April the company will be coming out with what they are doing. I just hate to see you guys get all worked up over something that isn't anything.

As you can read....it states that the asst manager gave me the reason that she believes may be the reason...key word "may" and I never stated that it was written in stone...I am actually offended how you worded your response. Sorry that I am sounding like a major "B" but...lately I have noticed a lot of know it alls on this site and it has been turning me off...And to make it clear I LOVE COUPONMOM.COM and I have learned and practiced many of the techniques shared on this site....Ok wanted to vent!!!!

I imagine there are many reasons for them having to change the program. I can only imagine what their printing costs are. It would be great if they had a single q or q card that you could use for the weekly coupons and the Easysaver coupons. Perhaps it does boil down to advertising in the Easysaver what a huge waste of paper each month.
At my store, depending on the cashier some want the q cut out, others use some kind of card to scan it in so I always cut them out even if they won't use them just so I can get credit for them.
