I'm glad I had a good cashier, she went slow since all the coupons beeped to confirm.

Been wanting to make choco chip cookies here, needed the eggs. Plus making meatballs for dinner.

I pay $4.99 for 18 eggs at Costco... Of course that's the brown eggs. Regular eggs are $2.87/dozen at the commissary. Cheap eggs do not exist here. lol

I can buy local farm brown eggs for $2.00 a dozen here, so I am not paying $1.89 for store bought eggs. Sorry about your egg price CQ. I bet milk is not cheap either.

Regular milk is $4 something a gallon. I buy organic milk now, its $5.23 for a half gallon. I buy about 3 per week. I can get 3 cartons at Costco for $11, but it isn't as tasty as Horizon. Sadly I am used to paying those prices now...I don't really use coupons at all anymore. I just don't buy those products.I spend between $150-200 per week on food. When we lived in Chicago I paid $3-400 per month. Ha! But you know what I am ok with it. I ate some pre-made pulled pork from Costco recently, it was loaded with sodium nitrate. I was literally sick to my stomach half way through and couldn't eat it. I just don't eat processed food or any preservatives anymore.

I found one farmers market but its on Saturday from 8-12, and I see it on my way to work. Someday I will get to go! Sorry for the hijack...I can still live vicariously through you two and your awesome deals.

My Walgreens has been opened for about a year now. They have had eggs on an unadvertised sale for anywhere from 88 cents to $1.29 a dozen ever since they opened.
Don't forget you can get eggs at CVS with ECB's, Rite Aid with Up Rewards and Walgreens with Register Rewards.

I remember that price being advertised at only some Walgreens here, mostly the inner city ones. I went to a Wags in the suburbs this morning and even though the price said $1.79 they rung up at $1.99. I went into Walgreens thinking I was going to get them for $1.29.....so even $1.79 was disappointing to me.
