It's a great deal. I did it twice and used the gc from the 1st one 2 pay for the second without any issues. Set up was about 60 seconds and it charges in 3 hours. You do have to charge it through a usb. A regular plug is not included. I do have a nook color and love it. Now I have one with the e ink for reading outside. Because it's not backlit like the nook I expect the charge to last much longer. It is the basic one reader and the pages turn with a button on the side. There are a lot of free books from amazon and the selection is a bit different than the nook. If you have amazon prime you get to borrow a book from their lending library once a month. You can also borrow a book from the public library on it. Another feature is you can put documents on it ex our shopping lists It's pretty light weight and fits easily in a purse. I've had it for a few days now and really like it so far. Hope DD likes the one I got for her.

The $30 gc deal is available on a couple of other e readers. They are not in the ad but they do have a paper on top of each model that is elegible.

I tried.....the local WM still had them $99 on Saturday and did not offer the $30 gift card, even though their website had your deal listed thru the 5th. The electronics manager said it was up to the store and they did not offer the deal. I want one but not bad enough to drop a hundred dollar bill on it.

With graduation and Father's Day coming up in June, I am sure there will be more sales for it.
If I see any good deals, I will make sure to let you know.
