Not happy with Walmart!!!

I went to Walmart yesterday and they would not let me use my new Tide coupons for the single Tides and they would not let me use the Schick coupons for the 1.97 12 pack!! The CSM I talked to told me I was trying to commit coupon fraud 3 times and then when I asked to talk to manager she went to the back and came back and said yep they say the same thing!! They would not even come out and talk to me. She said you have to buy what is in the picture and I said no you dont it goes my the writing on the coupon.

She said well we got an email today from Loss and Prevention and they said the coupon is a faud!! I got it out of the P&G booklet on 10/30. And the schick the picture had the ST2 razors on it but because it has a packaging she wouldnt let me use it. I am not waiting on a call from corporate. I hate it when my coupons dont work!!!!

With the IP coupons they can look up on a site to verify the coupons are legit . I dont have the site directly at hand but walgreens did it once on me. Also if walmart's trying to say you're committing coupon fraud on by using a PG coupon , then they're committing fraud by selling the papers they're in :P

Coupon Resource Center to check ip's. Walmart did that to me one time and i contacted their corporate.Well the District manager contacted me the same day and apologized then gave me a 35.00 Walmart giftcard .

my walmart tried that on the schick coupons but i had them READ the words over till they understood that it was the old packaging they had in their
store. i waited patiently and asked for the stores main head manager. finally the clerk read it and processed it.

Last night the manager called me and asked me what happened...I told him what happened and how they told me I was committing the coupon fraud. He told me to come in this week and ask for him and he wanted to read the coupons. He said come in before you shop and we will make sure that they are ok. He apologized for her calling me a coupon frauder. So we will see. I have alot of the coupons so we will see what I can get.

It really just depends on the experience of the people your dealing with, unfortunately walmart doesn't pay too much. If you pay peanuts, you get monkey's!! Now there are a lot of people working at walmart that do a great job. I have 12 of the $1.97 schick deals in my closet, next to the 10 2 liter dr peppers, all Free from walmart so they do take the coupons but if I recall correctly they did beep everytime they went through and the cashier had to do something but they do work. I would give another walmart a try or try the same store at a different time of day (preferably a slow time) Good luck.

I forgot to mention the tides. The tide q's are not working in most places. Has to do with them being from a different manufacturer or something like that.

How frustrating!! I'm sorry that happened GRR! I ended up using my Schick q's at KMart because my WM was out of them and I checked a few times.

I had this same problem using the Schick coupon at my local Walmart. I didn't have my cell phone on me so as soon as I got home I contacted their corporate office and complained. Corporate contacted the store, store manager contacted me. Next time I shopped there they took the coupon. I think with Walmart you just have to insist they follow their own policies. And have your cell phone with you. It would not have bothered me at all to hold up the line so I could call Corporate.

I tried to use the Tide coupon today on the travel size too and it beeped. They told me if it doesn't scan they can't key it in.
This was the first time i tried to take advantage on the overage at walmart, i was disappointed. I had to wait long before somebody actually came to the register. I was in a hurry and didn't feel like arguing. I guess i am not the only one who had problem with the coupon.
Did it actually work for anybody??
