Walmart adventure 8/22
Last night mom called and needed some help. She is highly allergic to bees and they were building a nest in her shutters. She wondered if we could come up and spray them. We needed to stop at wal-mart to get some bee spray and I thought hmmmm - I will try this again. Wow Smiles and a greeting from the greeter!
Hubby grabbed the bee spray and went to pay for that and go answer a call from work. He said to wander a bit and give him about 20 minutes. I headed off on the way to the travel/trial section there was an endcap calling my name! There was a display with Gillette Fusion Proglide Razor packs. It said value up to $12 on outside of pack and had a razor, trial face scrub, trial body wash, and trial cooling gel for after shaving. The price on the display said $4.97. I double checked and looked yep I had $4 coups so got 4. I am not sure if this is just my wal-mart or if it was a clearance etc.
So I went and looked a bit and picked up
4 cascade trials @.97 $1/1 coup
4 Premium Degree Deod trials @ .97 $1/1 coup
4 Fusion razor packs @ $4.97 $4/1 coups
1 box of pocky for daughter @ $1
1 toothbrush holder for daughter going to college @ $1
3 Bic disposable razor 10 packs for Charity $2.48 $2/1 coups
I used a $10 gift card that I had gotten and paid only 61 cents extra. All the coupons went through without a problem! The cashier was wonderful! She did check to make sure items were there, but didn't have a bit of trouble!!! She even complimented how organized I was and what an amazing savings to have origianl total of just over $40 and use coupons and bring it to $10.61.
I left with my items and a smile just in time as hubby was getting off the phone.
