Price match anywhere in the U.S.?

While I was shopping at Wal-Mart tonight a guy told me that it is a little known new policy that Wal-Mart will match ANY sale price anywhere in the country. Anyone else heard this? I thought it was only in the shopping area.

funny you should mention this, i went into walmart armed with a price chopper ad from NY...i live in KY and they laughed at me!!! I was hoping for a good deal, but nope!!

I was just at walmart yesterday and they price match my ad (store is about 12 miles away) but the cashier said they dont price match further than 15 miles...So, I guess they also have to train their cashiers on locations of different stores around the area...LOL!!!

I had a Wal-Mart checker tell me tonight that they price match nationwide and if a checker told me otherwise to ask for a check out supervisor.
