25 cent Crayola crayons

was at walmart yesterday and saw them putting out the school supplies--much to the horror of my 13yo dd- who wouldnt even LOOK at them with me.Usually stock up on these at this price.Also had the Elmer's glue sticks and bottles for .25.

I saw them this week also. Last year the crayons were $0.20, the glue sticks. Also last year the notebooks were $0.10, up from $0.05 in 2008, and this year they are $0.15 at my store.

I will check this out tonight! Our local movie thater is currently collecting school supplies, clothing & personal cares items for children who's familes find it hard to get all the stuff needed for back to school. I was very excited because I had been wanting to find someplace to donate school supplies for this reason, and since my husband works there part-time on weeekends, I can just send a bunch of stuff to work with him!

I know! I got all of my kiddos school supplies done this week between WG's and Walmart. (Paid less than $50 to get new backpacks for the two of them and all of their supplies). I'm good with that!

Last year we had some extra school supply $ so we bought extras of the supplies that we knew would still be good this year for the reason you mentioned above. Pencils, crayons, scissors won't run out, but the price will probably continue to increase.

I went to WM Saturday, 2 pk glue sticks and 24 ct Crayons were $0.30.

I just picked some up at K-mart for $0.25 each. They also have 10count Crayola markers for $1.
