Turkey $$
Just went to my local WM, and came across a great deal on turkeys.. They were 40 cents #. Limit 2. Brand name was Riverside.. I picked up 2. Couldnt pass up a deal like this. I got a 16.25 # for $ 6.50.. the other was 12.75#, for 5.10.. Got them both im my deepfreeze.. Hopefully they willl have this deal at other WM.

My Walmart was charging .60 a lb for turkeys (limit 2) I saw some huge ones in there.
Didn't get one though because I think the price will go lower.....last year our 2 grocery stores had a Turkey price war.....each store promising they would match the lowest price in town on turkey...I think I got some 10lb turkeys for around .49 a lb last fall.

I saw on the my local news this morning that walmart is bringing down prices on their thanksgiving items ie. turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, gravy etc. I believe the price they said was feed a family of 8 for around $20. The markdowns start today at all walmarts.

Oh wow!! Good deal. Maybe fresh potatos will be marked down too? One can only hope. I never cook boxed ones.

Dang it my WalMart mark down turkeys today to .40 a lb today and ran out before I got any.

I did ask while I was there and she just shook her head and said they had no idea when more would be arriving.....which may or may not be true....
