Default I have to share my Walmart story from yesterday.

It almost turned into a bad moment, but with a bit of explanation on my part to the cashier everything turned out okay.

I went in to check out the Airwick deals to see if they were still doing the $6 large ones and to check if they had put the small ones on sale as listed here.

Yup...the larges ones will still on sale for $6 but the small ones weren't. So I picked up three of the large ones.

Then I happened to notice they had the Febreeze noticeable starter kits on sale for $5....so I thought I would pick up 6 of those since I had 6 coupons and I rarely see these on sale.

So I am checking out....the first two coupons for the $6 off Airwick freshmatic scan through fine...the third one beeped....so the cashier looks at it and says...oh...it's beeping because you can only use one per purchase. I looked at her and said...yup...and for each one of these I have purchased I can use one, it does not say one per transaction...and if that was the case, one of the other two wouldn't have scanned would it? Oh yeh..she says...

so I hand her the 6 $4 off Febreeze coupons and she scans four of them and then says to me your total is $19.68....I said...no...it isn't...please verify how many of the $4 ones you've scanned....so she counts them...oh I only did four...so she scans the other two...and then says..your total is 11.68....I said no...you still haven't scanned the last $6 one....

well luckily a CSM happened to be walking by so she flags her down, and they both read the coupon...the CSM tries to scan it and it beeps at her too...so she is just scratching her head....checking expiration date, wording, product description the whole nine yards...finally she just overrides the computer and pushes it through.

I thanked them both very politley for their help and patience and they both thanked me for my patience and we all went merrily along our way. No fuss, no muss.

I walked out paying $5.68 for $50.00 worth of stuff.

Just an added word of caution though...for those of you that have $6 off Airwick coupons make sure when you use them they are scanning. I think they have all come from Redplum flyers (I think they were Redplum flyers) Could be just a fluke, or just my particular Walmart on that particular day, or it could be that maybe some of them have something wacky going on when they were printed...either way...just a heads up.

Glad things didn't get ugly-alas, they sure can sometimes. All these air fresheners are going to be great additions to our gift bags this year.

that is so crazy, I traded for 12 of those $6 q's. I bought 8 at one store and 4 at another store. No beepage..maybe it was just the store you were at. Great savings though. BTW, those darn big airwicks i motions scare the heck out of me everyday...lol..they spray out and it makes me jump everytime..lol..guess that is why they are on price cut, because it can be very annoying, although they smell pretty good...lol..

I have started handing the cashier each coupon separately just because of that reason. I was tired of getting away from the register and realizing that all my coupons didn't scan. So far, I haven't had anyone complain. I just make sure that I keep up with them and don't slow them down and it seems to be working.
