I do the same as cherrypicker and twilightmom. I know my price so I go ahead and circle want I want and I keep the store ad with the items all together so its not confusing for the cashier but I put my bogo in front. Here it is just easier. This system works out great at wm.It has helped that they match meat too. I save gas and time this way. Thanks for posting the tips for others to learn.Thats what it all about ...helping out.

Wouldn't it nice if this was everyone's experience?

I'm still gonna give them another go though just because I'm not a quitter.

It goes to show that persistence pays.

Wow, thank you CP! I have been taking advantage of WMs price matching whenever I can, because the Meijers by me has some good deals from time to time, but it is rather far and I do not like to waste the gas. Now if I can get them to match on meat and produce, I'll be in good shape.

I think I will print off your comments and go see the manager before I stock up my cart though. WM can be really iffy, I've found.

When you take your (meat) ads to Wal-Mart...just ask to speak to the CSM (the one that helps the cashiers up front). Show them your ad....and they will be able to tell you right then and there, as well as any restrictions (if any). HTH. If it helps....I practically buy all of my meat at Wal-Mart because of their price matching policy.

Default IP policy

If they are not taking IP coupons, I would try printing thier corporate policy on this and take it to the manger. If that doesn't work, I would call the corporate office.

Wow I love that idea of giving a "grumbling line person" a coupon for something in their cart.. Very smart! I will have to try that.

Something to keep in mind when you are looking at clearance items. Be sure to price check them, sometimes they will be cheaper. I worked at Wal-Mart for over 4 years. It's a pain in the butt to put red clearance stickers on all the items that go clearance. And some packages do get overlooked when employees are doing price changes. Exspecially if your Wal-Mart has a Clearance Aisle like mine does.

It wouldn't hurt to price check a regular priced item that you've had your eye on. Sometimes those too get overlooked during price changes.
