confusing deals?

I have more problems with couponing and saving at Vons than any other store. I have almost on every occasion been denied a deal that is advertised. My vons also has limited coupons to two on the product. For example I recieved coupons directly from the Barefoot contessa website, I had four coupons for four meals and they said their policy is limited to two on like items. I had them take back two of the meals, but never heard that rule before. I am also very confused with their mix and match 3 for 4.99 or similar deals. I have had to ask assciates several times just to make sure I got the correct items. These all have to be like items. Very confusing and takes twice as long as Smiths mix and match 10 items deal. Has anyone had these same problems?

Sorry, wish I could help but my Vons is actually one of the MOST coupon friendly places around me. Sometime the mix n'match can be a little confusing and I have to check each tag to make sure they are on the sale but at least there is always a tag under each item with the current price listed (can't say the same for Ralphs!) and I've even had times when an item wasn't included in a sale (couple of weeks ago one variety of popcorn not BOGO all others BOGO) that the manager actually made the item on sale when I asked. Sounds like you may have an uptight store or district manager....sorry you've had so much trouble, just have to weigh whether's Vons is worth your time or not!
