    Default The "You Saved" Line

Does anyone know if the "you saved" line on the Target receipt includes MFQs, or just reflects savings from sales and Target Qs. I know others really like their receipts, but I find them difficult to follow. I track how much I saved from coupons vs sales, etc, so I break it down for each receipt.

I don't have a receipt handy, but I believe it includes everything. On a Target receipt, if a product was on sale you'll see an arrow pointing down next to the price.

For Target & Walgreens I work backwards when figuring out my savings breakdown. I start with the OOP and add the value of the coupons I used to get the sale price. Then I add the 'you saved' amount to the OOP to get the pre-sale price. HTH
