BOGO Fancy Feast deal

I have done the FF BOGO with Target and mfr. Qs many, many, many times already. This is were you get both free using the store and mfr. BOGO Qs. I had 3 left, so tried to use them today . Cashier said no, line manager said no. She stated "well, we'd be giving you $ then". I politely explained that no, the mfr. would reimburse Target for the price of 1 of the appetizers. She started to argue back, but I just said no problem, I'll use them at Publix.

Anyone else have this problem? Strange I did it so many times and now it's a problem.

just do it again a different day with a different cashier, that's all.

yup AND call corporate, get a reference number on this problem and be ready to quote reference number if there is a problem.

I had the same problem! I've "bought" these 5 million times with no issues...the other day, the cashier kept telling me I had to buy twice as many cans to be able to use both types of coupons. I stood my ground. Manager came over and agreed with cashier! Again, I refused to accept it. I got louder and louder (but still polite) and I could feel everyone looking at me. Eventually, the manager said, "Well, I guess we're going to get reimbursed by the manufacturer either way." Duh. Soin the end, I got the free cat food to donate--I hope the SPCA appreciates what I went through! :-)

Isn't it amazing how the rules change at Target each hour depending on who the cashier and/or CS manager is? Call corp. then try again with a cashier who has never given you problems before.
