Default Has anyone got the Playskool Musical Sit n' Spin?

Target has this on sale this week for $20 ...Coupons.com has a coupon for $10 off. I remember having a regular Sit n' Spin growing up. My DD would love this, I need to start thinking X-mas now so Santa can afford to put things under the tree this year.

I got a similar one last year for my ds. It is horrible!! I had a Sit n Spin as I child and I remember how much fun I had with it but these are junk! You can barely get it to spin around! It spins really slow and basically bored my ds every time he tried to use it.

It is possilbe this "new" one may be different but I wanted to put out my experience. And of course you may not agree with me on it too!

I have one at my house for my niece. She loves it! It is a few years old though, so I don't know anything about the new ones.

I wanted to buy one of these, but I checked the reviews on toys R us website. The views were that this product is not the same quality as the older version (from when we were all kiddies). So I'm thinking twice at this point. If anyone gets it and opens it I'd be interested to know how they feel.

We bought one for our now 8 year old daughter when she was about 2 years old. We ended up throwing it out within months, she could not even spin on it and the vertical part got stripped, so it did not work anymore at all. I would not recommend it.

This is consistent with how I feel. I even tried to get it to spin myself and it is soooo hard to get it to go! So frustrating!

Thanks for sharing - this saves me $10 AND saves me disappointing a little one. Mine get so upset when a toy breaks or doesn't work properly.
