Dh overnighted a check so I can buy a living room set. I am set on the Ashley furniture homestore. 3 styles I love. My aunt also offered me an antique cabinet that was my mom's, we had it in our house growing up. She used it for her cross stich. Its like a secretary desk but it just looks like an armoire almost, but on 4 legs. It has 2 small doors that open out and one that opens down--creating a desktop. Its hard to explain. My stepsister already commited to going with me to pick up couches, I am hoping she'll drive out to my aunts also to pick up the cabinet. She has a truck.

/ hobbles slowly and painfully into the room sits down gingerly and starts to type

Hi all how are things going? I hope better than I feel right now. Have you ever been run over by a truck.. 10 times? Cause thats how I feel. I think I am in more pain than after my foot surgeries.. granted I had vicodin to help ease the pain then. Excercise is great. A-hole trainers trying to prove how awesome they are by ignoring your limits.. not so much. I hope that one day he gets his come-uppance! PUNK!

    /sighs

Why does it have to be so hard? Oh right.. cause I allowed myself to get to this point now I gotta PAY THE PIPER =p Anyways.. I hope everyone has a great day and stuff!

Just wanted to post a big thank you to everyone on this site, especially my buddies, you all know who you are. I have been super nervous about going to Hawaii and the high prices. I've been doing some research, looking for Hawaii savers blogs, store ads online, etc. I have come to realize things may be a bit more procey over there, but I don't think I will suffer one bit. I have already stockpiled almost all my H&B, enough for a year at least in the past month.

I have found a great clipping service thanks to starladarcy. I read on another blog about Hawaii that they don't get great coupons there. Between the clipping service and my awesome trades, problem solved. I also find awesome IP links already from this site and my few blogs I follow on FB.

I already know almost everything and more, than the Hawaii bloggers are posting. I already am very savvy at meal planning, menu stretching, farmers markets, and already know how to shop at WM, Target, CVS, Walgreen's, etc. I've already contacted every possible company I could think of, and have a coupon for nearly every essential I'll need to start my kitchen up from scratch.

I guess its just fear of the unknown that gets me everytime. I am sick of moving around but its inevitable with the Navy I guess. Love you guys.

Come to think of it, I have already lived on the west coast, east, in the south, and midwest. =)

Ok, so I am getting my behind kicked at work. 2 for today, 6 for tomorrow, 2 for Saturday and 1 on Sunday. There is absolutely no way I could get 6 done in one day... SO, the plan is to clean 3 a day for the next 3 days and then 2 on Sunday... I'll be a tired gal but then I'll have Monday and Tuesday to pack and plan my trip! I'll be heading straight down I65 on Wednesday, still not sure what time I'm leaving. I can't get too excited about it, I have too much work in between and I won't be efficient.

Lilmama and Antonio are moving either Friday or Saturday for sure. I'm actually OK with it, I'll still be babysitting for him but my free time will be my free time now. Don't get me wrong, I'll miss the both of them terribly... They left the house for a few hours last night and DH and I both kept thinking we'd hear the baby stir or make noises, LOL! I think that'll take a little bit to subside.

Just checking in. I probably won't be on as much with this knee problem. I think my knee replacement has given out. I have a lot of trouble getting in and out of the swiveling computer chair, so rather than risk a fall, I'm avoiding it. I wouldn't be here at all except I have to download some workers' comp forms. My Union has copied these forms so much that they're muddy and unreadable. Can't have that! So, I'm buried once again in a sea of paperwork. I hate this, and DH is in N.C. with his Mother, so I can't rely on him for anything. Right now I'm pretty much housebound. So, this is my life right now. Continue your prayers for me please.

Hey hey everyone. It feels like forever since I've posted. I've been fairly busy trying to find work, and I guess taking a bit of a break from couponing. Not *completely*, but since the coupons have been fairly lousy lately...

I'm probably only at 50% savings this month due to the lack of couponing trips, plus buying a ton of produce. DH and I have both decided to start eating better (more produce for me, some at all for him, haha), so of course the wallet suffers!

Jan, SO sorry about the knee and I will be praying for you.

Stef ~ Not sure if you have an Aldi's near you, but there's a current thread about the produce some of our poster's are getting. Very nice prices!

So things have been crazy here. Huge falling out. Looking for some changes, but are in limbo with DH J O B.... ughh. News cannot come fast enough. Get me and my ninos outta here!

Today has been nice weather. Visited a friend and got a lovely gift of several teas and more to come. Can't wait.

DD didn't wake up to feed last night. WEANED! Yeah! Diet restrictions here I come. I am so down about my body.

New shopping game plan for just my little family. Hope to keep our number down to around $75 a week. Hope our groceries aren't eaten.

Chairs and bench came today, table didn't. Fedex guy said probably on another truck or tomorrow. They are just peices in a box so its hard to see the finished picture but the color is nice, and the bench matches. Its hot in our room.

My dd weaned around March I think Evelyn. Sometimes she notices them and seems to act like 'hey I remember those!' and she may try to get in my shirt. Its funny. She is also fully potty trainied now. Even at night. Its a miracle. She is dry every morning. I still have a 6 1/2 year old in goodnights, haven't figured that one out yet.
