    Thumbs up First Shopping Trip

Today was my first shopping trip to shoprite with a list of things that were on sale and my coupons. My total was 106.06 and after my price plus card and coupons I saved 24.55. I think that is pretty good for my first week.

Great Job!! I'm a ShopRite person myself. We can share deals when they arise

I live within 10 miles of Shaws, Shoprite and Stop and Shop and I find Shoprite is the best place to get what you need and save big. I have yet to spend over $50 there during any given week.

But since I live next to all three I do have the advantage of g etting a few items here on sale and a few at the next store....I'm spoiled and loving it

Good job. Whenever I save money, I always think about how long I would have to work at my job in order to make that money and I appreciate it even more. I am pretty new at couponing also. I have been averaging about $20 to $25 in savings each week in coupons - not including price plus. The last couple weeks it's been the same itmes on sale at Shop Rite and I am hoping they change it up soon. I am going tomorrow and plan to pick up more Knorr Pasta Sides (1/2 price) and with my coupons they should be close to free. The FREE $25 gift card deal that Shop Rite has going on right now, sounds great but I won't be able to take advantage of it since I try to stick to a budget and have other items I need. To purchase $75 worth of specific items (items which not all I need) in one shopping order is alot of money to spend. If I had a stockpile at this point it probably would be a great deal.
