Default Shop Rite wouldn't take Internet cpns

I'm in Conn. Stopped by SR today to get some of the chicken that was half price and wanted to get some of the lysol items that were on sale. they refused my internet coupons, said they will only take them from Coupon.com. mine were from the Lysol site so I made her credit the items. It took forever and the people behind me got cranky and all moved their stuff to another register but I didn't care. Although I was somewhat annoyed because the final cost would have been a good deal. Oh well, I'll have to find someplace else where it's on sale

I hate my SR. The cashiers are terrible as well as the customer service reps. I refused to go back afer a bad experiance. My target ehr is my best bet on absolutely everything.

The coupons had bar codes and I had just printed them off before going to the store. I was so aggravated. I've been stopping in there more often just for the deals and I'll continue to do so but it burst a bubble in my plan. Oh well

i have a couple shoprites in my area and the two farthest ones are so much better i find that i am only going to those...i think it depends on the owners overall because my favorite coupon friendly will take anything as long as it scans are both by the same owner...the other shoprites that are closer have made me feel icky with my coupons on more than one occassion so i drive the extra to avoid feeling like a con artist or crimnal...maybe you have a couple different stores around you also...its trial and error really because shoprite does have such good deals its worth finding the store thats best at acceptng coupons

I am in northern NJ and the Shop Rite stores all seem to have a different policy for accepting IP coupons. There are two stores by me that do not accept any IP coupons, at all. I used to shop these stores, so now I go to another SR, but this one now says that IP coupon has to have a physical address and an internet web address or they won't take it.

I wish that SR corporate would have one policy that all their stores followed. Very frustrating.

IP is definitely scoffed at in quite a few stores.I was very sceptical in using IPs in the beginning. In fact for the first few visits had a hard time at my favorite Shoprite as it used to take forever to checkout. Many of the IPs were straightaway refused. Then in due course I learned to first take all the Qs and show them to the CS first before starting the shopping. At the same very time I asked them which lane to checkout or only the CS counter has to be used. After that it was a lot better.Less hard feelings and faster checkouts. As soon as the cashier used to call the manager she shouts "thats Ok,go ahead, all IPs are OK"
