I went grocery shopping again last night. My family is getting quite a chuckle out of this new addiction I have!

My receipt is 36 inches long. I measured.

I bought 37 items that should have totaled $80. I paid $28.

Everything (except the blueberries and seltzer that DD requested) was on sale. Most had a coupon...which was doubled, of course.

My best deals...
2 Kraft salad dressings - free
2 Halls cough drops - free
2 Speed Stick deodorants - .50

I found another good bargain. At ShopRite, some of the larger items have a tag on the shelf that says 'Buy More and Save.' It's for the larger package size of an item. If you buy 3 of them, your store card gets you more that the price of one of them off. Plus you can use your coupon.

My 2 examples:
Chocolate chips - the big bag - twice the regular size.
5.29 each
-6.88 if you bought 3
-1.50 Q
7.50 for the equivalent of 6 regular bags
47% savings

My other example of this was Fiber One granola bars.
5.99 each for the big box of 10 bars
4.99 on sale
-4.98 if you bought 3
-1 Q
8.99 for 30 bars
50% savings
