I was thinking of doing self check out at Shaws with Q's but is it a pain I haven't tried it yet. Not alot of stuff but I'm trying to get the 30/15 deal and didn't know if the coupon prints out at self check out? Can you tell I'm new at this!

Ummm...I shop at Big Y and I don't *think* you can use coupons in the self checkout. I know that they give out "coins" randomly after you are finishing checking out, and even those cannot be redeemed at a self checkout (that I know for sure!). And if you win one at self checkout, the light blinks and you have to wait for a clerk to come give one to you. Again, this is at our Big Y...so it may not apply elsewhere.

if I can I always use self check out at Shaws, you can use coupons there is a machine to put them in and also I have never had a probem, I prefer it, I can scan my coupon after each item and love it!
So I prefer to do two smaller trips than one big one. I have always had the catls print too, but you will probably need help with a $5 cat for payment, but it has never been a problem.
