Sometimes, I find that Shaws doesn't always double the catalinas that you get from the store. Not sure why that is but sometimes the double but not very often.
The Shaws here in Concord used to not take IP coupons up until about 2 years ago. That is part of the reason why I didn't shop there. But now they changed their policy so I do shop there.
I have emailed coporate when I have a question about a coupon policy and usually they are good about getting back to me. Generally though, they said the same thing to me, that they don't have a written policy on their coupons and I would assume that each store can use their own discretion as far as IP's go.
I would ask coporate about the not doubling though because on this week's sales flyer it says right on the front page that they double coupons.

I had the same issue with CVS. I had a WAGS coupon for something that was onsale and they take them but I was told not on sale items. Sometimes I get very frustrated with this whole thing. It seems like no one wants you to use the coupons! I also asked Stop and Shop and Shaw's for a copy of their coupon policy and both stores didn't have one. They had the small one at the registers but not the detailed one and not even the manager knew the policy! He said he woul dresearch it for me. I was trying to use 9 coupons on the same item and they told me I could use 4. I read online it was 16 and they said that seems high but no one could tell me for sure. Just wondering of others have run into this kind of stuff...
