    Default Great shaws sales - 1/2 - 1/8

Wow... has anyone picked up next weeks flyer for Shaws... it is chocked full of GREAT deals and that is even before coupons. There are a ton of can sales - 10 for $10. Great Yogurt sales on the front and back pages... and they have one of those 'Spend $30 and get $15 back - and there are so many qualifying purchases....and I've spotted a bunch that there are coupons for, making the deals even sweeter.

Also there is a ton of P&G stuff in the spend $30 get $15 back sales - so reaching the P&G current promotion (I think its spend $50 get $120 back in coupons) should be really easy and great value.

YAY Am off to study the flyer and make my list!

Lets post any coupon links that match up on this thread!!

It was the printed one they give out in the store each week.... the current week is by the entrances when you go inside and the next weeks flyer is by the exits.

I haven't checked the shaws internet coupons to see if they are up yet - it says there will be $50 of those!

So if you can whizz by your local shaws you will probably find one... it is sooo good. Also - pick up a couple at least cos they have a couple of actual coupons printed in it - I need to pick up a bunch more so I can get a months supply of yogurts for 40cents each with their in-flyer coupons.

Was reading it in Bed again last night - I may be taking couponing a little too far!!

There's Yoplait coupons out there on the internet if you do a google search for printable yoplait coupon where you get $1 of of 8. So it would be 20 for 6 bucks! I have a question... Last week I went to Shaw's to get the cotenelle deal. I had a store coupon and a MFC for .50. I thought they would double that but they didn't. They didn't double my internet Q's either. Even though they say DO NOT DOUBLE they have always doubled. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem. I don't feel like complaining it was too crazy of a week with Christmas and all. But I was like what!!??

I forgot to add too that I had a Chex Mix get $1/2 then I had a .60 internet coupon for the other one. Now the Chex Mix was BOGO but I hadn't given my Shaw's card yet so the coupons should have worked right? In my head it always works but when I get to the store it never does! I had the same issue with CVS. I had a WAGS coupon for something that was onsale and they take them but I was told not on sale items. Sometimes I get very frustrated with this whole thing. It seems like no one wants you to use the coupons! I also asked Stop and Shop and Shaw's for a copy of their coupon policy and both stores didn't have one. They had the small one at the registers but not the detailed one and not even the manager knew the policy! He said he woul dresearch it for me. I was trying to use 9 coupons on the same item and they told me I could use 4. I read online it was 16 and they said that seems high but no one could tell me for sure. Just wondering of others have run into this kind of stuff...

I cant wait to do some of these deals, please post your shopping lists and links to coupons.
I have not been to Shaws for couple of weeks, but had no problem with coupons doubling etc. I always scan my card first and if I only have a few items I always self check out now. And do my coupon after each item to make sure I get the correct amount of.

Sometimes, I find that Shaws doesn't always double the catalinas that you get from the store. Not sure why that is but sometimes the double but not very often.

The Shaws here in Concord used to not take IP coupons up until about 2 years ago. That is part of the reason why I didn't shop there. But now they changed their policy so I do shop there.

I have emailed coporate when I have a question about a coupon policy and usually they are good about getting back to me. Generally though, they said the same thing to me, that they don't have a written policy on their coupons and I would assume that each store can use their own discretion as far as IP's go.

I would ask coporate about the not doubling though because on this week's sales flyer it says right on the front page that they double coupons.

Ok after todays shopping trip to Shaw's I am back to loving them. I used the spend $30 get $15 deal and I got so much for FREE!! I did it like CVS and just kept using coupons and did a couple of transactions. I got a whole cart for 4 bucks! You have to spend the original $30 but once you get it watch out! There's so many great coupons out there for the stuff especially the cereal! And they doubled all my IP's this time

Yay!!! Good for you!!! It finally worked out for you. You know another tip is find a cashier who is super nice and coupon friendly. I have one at my shaws and I will go to her register even if there is line because she takes every coupon I give her, even if it's expired (by just a few days though). And if the coupon doesn't scan she puts it in manually. She's awesome.
