after meat and veggies anf a few more things ,total was 129.36 -(2) 5 off $50 1found in a carriage outside the store and 1 from the ducklings booklet,and many qs the total was 69.21,and I actually felt I could have saved some more. I guess next time.

Wow, sorry bit late seeing this but what great deals!!
I seem to have lost my way a bit lately with my coupons and am missing out on the deals. I need to get back into it, I was in shaws today but totally unprepared. I find it takes me so long to get organised, I know I am missing out.

And after all this time I thought I would be saving more moeny shopping at walmart with coupons! What are the finite details of doubled coupons at Shaw's? I am so excited!

I never used to shop Shaws either until Oct. I love it, I have saved so much money. They double up to a dollar, so i.e 75 cents takes of . $1.50!!
I tend to buy most of my stuff there when it is on sale with a Q and I get my Milk on my way by Market basket, I have changed my way of shopping completely and I have a pantry full of food. For years I bought 2 boxes of cereal, 2 pasta, 2 sauce etc., my list was the same almost week in week out, now it is so different, i buy when on sale and only when on sale.
I love shaws. I have 10 boxes of cereal in my pantry, never in a zillion years would I have had that before couponmom, I used to buy MB generic, now I have all my kids faves that they only got as a special treat, I can not believe I used to spend 3-4 a box, now I average $1-$1.25 for name brand!

I shopped at shaws a long time ago but not til recently I found out that they doubled coupons. I very rarely have visited this part of the board but I think I am going to have to start. Thanks for the tips and sharing on deals that I didnt see today..
