My local Shaws (Maine) had some good deals too. Campbells Condensed Tomato and Chicken Noodle Soup was 2/$1. I had a coupon to save .40 cents on 4 cans. After doubling the coupon, each can only cost .30 cents each.

I also thought the Steamfresh frozen veggies coupons were a good value (.50 off one item). After doubling it was a $1.00 off. So you only paid like $1.39 for the bag, add some chicken and Voila! Dinner for Two!

I did notice that certain Ziploc brand bags were 50% off in the local stores. Using the recent coupons those were also a super value!

I track my grocery spending and coupon savings each week. This week I had a total coupon savings (both mfg and in-store deals) of $60.74. I spent a total of $85.83.

Nothing like getting nearly $150 in groceries for $85 bucks!

Has anyone tried the Nabisco cracker deal more than once? Shaw's has a $3 Q on their flyer, (when you buy 4 boxes) and then there are the $1/2 boxes coupon. I've done it once, and the $3 flyer q doesn't say "one per customer".

So the deal is buy four boxes with your Shaw's card. You then get them for $7

Less the $1/2 boxes makes them $1.25 each. Not bad for the large boxes of Ritz whole wheat crackers . They usually go for $2.50-$3.00 each normal retail.

Just an fyi, the ziploc bags that were 50% off at my shaw's had $1 Honey nut Cheerios q's that don't expire until march 2010. It was definitely a good deal for me, I only paid 29 cents per box and will certainly use that q. I'm going to look for more before my ziploc q's expire.
