    Default Hidden Catelina's at Shaw's

I was in Shaw's today working on the deal 10 for $10 and I bought 4 boxes of Fruit Snacks as a part of my 10. Well at the end I got another $2.50 off on top of the $10 back. Then my next transaction I bought 5 boxes of Check Mix bars and I got an extra $3.50 off! The coupon says its for Nature Valley too! Something like if you buy 2 you get $1.50 then you get more $ the more you buy up to 5 boxes. I walked out with $16 back instead of $10 Woohoo!!

I know that I've already posted twice this week about the $10 for 10 items. I bought 40 cans of Progresso soup with all of the coupons that I had, and paid a total of $2 and change. I'm tempted to go back and get more - even with no coupons, it ends up to be 33 cents per can. The expiration dates of most of them is in 2011.
On the front page of our newspaper today was and article about the great depression and how the people who had lived through it are very worried. My husband joked that we'd just open up our house as a grocery store and get rich. Honestly though - if there were a major depression that lasted for months or years - 40 cans of soup - no matter how great an amount that seems to be - wouldn't go very far in feeding a family of 4.
